English Mountain Trout Farm Reviews
TikTok fully influenced me and it was 100% worth it. English Mountain Trout is such a fun little Smoky Mountain/Sevierville stop like lowkey touristy in the cutest way. It’s cash only (but they have an ATM on site), tons of seating, and super family-friendly. Parking is a little tight, so we parked down the road on the grass and it was totally fine.

We absolutely love it here! We’ve been coming to it since I was around 4 years old. I’m now 29, and get to experience it with my son the same way I got to with my dad. Definitely highly recommended
We had a wonderful experience with them this evening! All our kids loved catching the fish and the food was amazingly cooked! My personal favorite is the blackened trout but everything was phenomenal!

The English Mountain Trout Farm provides a fun and family-friendly dining experience in the Tennessee Smoky Mountains. Visitors can try trout prepared in various ways, including lemon pepper, blackened, and fried, served with sides like hush puppies, mac 'n cheese, and coleslaw. The trout is fresh, and guests often comment on the nice size of the fish. The staff is very friendly and helpful, assisting guests with fishing, which makes the experience enjoyable for both kids and adults. Fishing costs $5, and meals are around $25, with additional charges if guests want to take their catch home based on weight. The restaurant operates on a cash-only basis, so visitors should plan accordingly. Many guests praise the quality of the food, especially the blackened trout, which is often described as the best ever. The food is cooked to perfection, and the hush puppies are considered the best ever, with homemade apple sauce also receiving high praise. While the facilities are simple, they offer a nice place to catch fish and enjoy a meal afterward. Some guests noted that seating arrangements could be improved, as they had to sit with strangers. Overall, the experience is fun and unique, resembling a camping vibe without the hassle, and many visitors recommend it as a great family adventure and a highly worthwhile visit in Tennessee.
