This out-of-the-way place serves excellent, home-cooked food done the right way. It's not big, so there may be a wait, but the quirky decor is in line with the Cajun seafood theme. Locals come here, so you know it's good stuff. The catfish is big, meaty, and breaded to perfection, and the red beans and rice and gumbo are fantastic. The boudin balls have great flavor. It's a great local spot away from the crowds, with very friendly service despite the lunch rush.
