While I do like this place they do have a weird substitution policies. Wanted soup instead of salad because they only offer two dressing options and shrimp sauce is one of them. They told us that we couldn’t substitute soup for salad and would have to buy the soup separate. Asked about paying an up charge and they refused. I just feel like that is a normal request for a Japanese restaurant offering hibachi.
Seriously traditional Japanese at reasonable prices.
Went here by myself to try it and the sushi was delicious! I got the Godzilla roll and the shrimp tempura roll. A young gentleman who may also work in the kitchen waited on me and he was terrific. He checked on me three or four times and gave me great service. I know there has been complaints about a girl that worked there but she wasn't there or no longer works there, I'm not sure.
