Long overdue for this review, but I visited home in Tennessee for Thanksgiving and found this place for breakfast. Country ham is very hard to find where I live in the midwest and I was excited to see it was on the menu here. Popes is a wonderful place not only to eat but to socialize with everyone and to enjoy each other’s company but if you haven’t met the owners then I think everybody should he’s got the best hamburger cheeseburgers in town and also also the best cook that there is in town. The food is absolutely amazing, so if you haven’t eaten At Popes I think you should one of the best hometown operated restaurants still around. With southern food and hospitality.

I have eaten at the restaurant several times and the food tastes great every time. The service is spectacular and all the staff is very friendly and personable. The server Ms. Karen is one of the best people I have ever met and always greets me with a smile. The gentleman that cooks the food is a really nice and friendly as well.
