My wife and I ate dinner at Pope's Cafe on 5-27-26. The service and food was excellent, and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend this establishment.

Pope's Cafe is a great place to eat with friendly staff and delicious food. They offer a variety of salads and fresh vegetables for vegetarians, including a fantastic salad bar. Customers with dietary restrictions or allergies will appreciate the staff's attention to detail in handling their food. The restaurant is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. One customer was thrilled to find country ham on the menu and praised the food's quality. Another visitor enjoyed the excellent service and classic breakfast options like fluffy pancakes, homemade biscuits, and crispy hashbrowns. The quaint cafe on the square in Shelbyville has a charming atmosphere with antiques, making diners feel like they’ve stepped into a movie set.
