“Amazing service. We gave Brianne an idea and she gave us a masterpiece! By far the easiest vendor we worked with and the only one willing to tackle what we were asking for. She was very responsive and we didnt worry one bit if our cake was going to be ready on time or not. The flavour of the cake was out of this world, I had some for breakfast the next day! From the first email to the final product I give it a 10/10.“

“I'm not sure who's idea it was to bring 3 monstrous boxes of cookies to our little hospital (Memorial Hixson) but I have to tell you I was so overwhelmed that day, almost in tears until the ER Nurse arrived with our box of cookies. “This was great, wish we had one closer in FL. My kids love little Debbie's, just can get a little pricey. So this was an amazing stop we made. I was able to buy so many to bring back to my kids. Highly suggest if you are in the area to stop and pick up your favorite snacks. Just wish they have the peanut butter pies they are hard to find in our area of FL.“

“This was our first stop on vacation and one of our favorite stops overall. We got Banana Caramel Cream Pie that was out of this world and we can not stop talking about. All the rest of the pies we ordered were delicious as well. And the girl at the counter was super sweet.“

“Stopped by for the 1st time after work. Was extremely easy to find and parking was a breeze behind the store. A Tres Leche cake was what I was looking for and found it literally right I'm front of the door! The selection of fresh breads and pastries was abundant! I got the cake I was looking for and several pastries and loaves of bread to try out! The proce was amazing as I got the cake and 8 pieces of bakery for $30... I highly recommend this establishment! I'll definitely be back!“

Visiting the Chattanooga Bakery was hands-down one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in the South—and it wasn’t just because of the legendary MoonPies (though those are worth the trip alone). From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was stepping into a place rich in history, pride, and authenticity. But what truly set it apart were two incredible individuals: Tory and Matt.
Tory was the first person to greet us, and within minutes, it was clear this wasn’t just a job to him—it was a passion. He radiated energy and knowledge and walked us through the story of MoonPie like he lived it himself. You could tell he was proud of the legacy and even prouder of where it’s headed. He answered every question with a smile and gave us an inside look into how Chattanooga Bakery has grown, evolved, and stayed true to its roots since 1917.
Then there’s Matt—equally amazing and someone who clearly understands what it means to deliver excellence. He showed us parts of the production process and gave great insight into how quality control, innovation, and attention to detail go into every single MoonPie that leaves the building. Matt’s commitment to the brand and to the customer experience is unmatched. He made us feel like VIPs and had us laughing the entire time.
Beyond the people, the facility is spotless, charming, and filled with touches of nostalgia—vintage signs, original packaging, and even some fun trivia along the way. The gift shop is a must-stop. It’s stocked with every variety of MoonPie you can imagine (including some rare and seasonal flavors), plus unique branded merchandise you won’t find anywhere else.
As someone who grew up eating MoonPies, I thought I knew what to expect. But I was completely blown away by how much more this place offers. You don’t just get a taste of a snack—you get a taste of Southern history, family tradition, and genuine hospitality.
It’s places like Chattanooga Bakery that remind you how impactful a brand can be when it’s built on integrity, consistency, and great people. Tory and Matt embody that spirit perfectly.
