“It's my fav new place to eat lunch. So many varieties of veggies and sauces. I call it my new fav I prefer not to eat meat, and there are very few places that can accommodate that. If you are tired of ordering salads or from the sides menu like me, you'll love this place.“
“Atmosphere - Pure Grade Hole-in-the-Wall. Definitely needs some major renovations and upgrades. That aside- the food is consistent and reliable. It's not the absolute best but it's quite good. No MSG and all cooked in vegetable oil. Drinks are canned soda but refills are included with dine in. The prices remain fair and competitive. Their egg rolls are excellent. Save room for the fresh donuts! You get 10 fluffy soft and sweet donuts for just $4.50. Heavenly!“
“Well, I must say, this was without a doubt the best experience I've had at a restaurant since back in '03. I took one bite of the crab Rangoon, and I must say that may have been, without exaggeration, the way I felt. It was the closest I could be to heaven. It may have been the crack cocaine I had right before, but I would still definitely recommend it to anyone who is fortunate enough to be in the area.“
“Food was decent. The Chinese food was better than the hibachi. The price reflects the quality and quantity but just barely. The atmosphere is generic and service wasn't anything special. Overall the worth visiting but would not go out of my way.“
“A very large selection at this buffet. The noodles are very good! Chinese servers and Mexican cooks, as most are these days. But! They had an extra Mexican section here that took advantage of that! Very nice. The grandkids liked the ice cream cones. I like the ones that have real ice cream buckets in the small freezer. It was a bit gritty textured, like the custard cones. I compensated with the tapioca pudding. Yummy!!! The best chinese buffet i have been to. The only reason i put a four on service was the waitress who never smiled or talked. Putting the bill on the table before i finished my first plate. Which i like to try a few little items at a time. She didn't check the drinks very well. But got 15 percent because that's our minimum unless someone is rude or incompetent. Otherwise it was a great time!“
“Best Chinese food we've ever eaten! We're visiting from out of town and this restaurant isn't far from our rental. Our order was ready on time, and the employees were friendly. The servings are massive. We ordered what we thought would cover our dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow but will probably have enough to make 3 meals out of it. The finishes in this establishment aren't fancy or trendy but who cares as long as it's clean and the food is good?“
“Found this awesome Chinese restaurant, my wife and I were shopping at Lowe's and home Depot and we got huuunnggrryy. So we googled Chinese or Japanese restaurants. Formosa popped up right in the plaza where Cici's pizza and planet fitness. As you walk in the lights are dimmed the atmosphere is warm and inviting and our server Ms. Maddie is top notch she is amazing, great service and the Food Drum Roll Please.....it was to the top amazing delicious fabulous hot filling did i say delicious well here it is again. You will not leave hungry. The oolong tea is fantastic and the service, awesome clean restaurant will be going back a lot I love this local catch thanks to Formosa nice jobAlmost forgot the egg rolls sooooo good asked for 4 I ordered 4 more so good“
“Much to my surprise, the food was good. So, we were in town visiting when we had a need for Chinese. Found this place by mistake. I love hole in the wall places. They were rated pretty well. 4 for a neighborhood Chinese is like a 5 plus. We don't have one in ours anymore, so this was a nice find.I tried to walk in and order but had to go to the drive up window to order. Hum, strange but whatever. Maybe do to covid. Safety. Who knows. Well, I ordered and had to park in the parking lot to wait for the food. It felt like a long wait. That was my only issue.Once I got home and opened the bag, everything I ordered was there, and the amount was huge. The taste was good. Nothing a little soy sauce couldn't fix. Hunan beef, General Tso, and some spring rolls. All was good, and there was plenty of leftovers.I would visit again.“
“Fast, affordable, and tasty! I'll definitely be back and recommend you give this place a try too!I ordered a Combination Mei Fun (Rice noodles with Beef, Roast Pork, Chicken, and Shrimp) and Beef w/ Broccoli (subbed carrots) at lunch time and was able to pick it in 15 minutes. It came packed with as much food as they could fit in the containers and the white rice container was bulging it was so full! They definitely didn't skimp on the portions and it's been very tasty as well. With how much I got, I won't be able to eat it all before I have to get rid of it. $ Value to portion size, this place can't be beat!On top of that, I had gastric bypass last year and needed to find some Asian food that isn't cooked in heavy oils and MSG that trigger my stomach so the 100% vegetable oil everything was cooked in held up great! Now, it's obvious the dining room never got set back up after COVID so it's sparse inside but they have take out only and they clearly know what they're doing in the kitchen which is all I care about. Don't let the strip mall location and photos of the decor fool you and give it a shot!“
“No matter what time we call ahead 15 minutes. $80 in food later its always ready before I drive 6 miles down Taft to get there. The portions are enough for a family party of 12 or 2 days of left overs including one vegan child and one weightloss surgery adult. Never a dull or burned meal.“
