“Growing up with family all through the south, I am a huge fan of Biscuits and gravy. This was next level. The gravy had a perfect balance of spice combined with the mixture of sausage and smoky bacon. Then the absolute perfect biscuits that had a nice bite, not too crumbly not too firm. Just right. The pig Sticks were amazing! From the crunch on the outside to the marriage of ingredients contained inside, it was a true delight on the palate! Then the desert seemed like a cross between a cinnamon took and almost a cobbler. Such a great breakfast and the owners were even more of a joy to meet. If you are looking for an amazing breakfast, this IS the place.“
“Love this place anywhere I travel! Very good service! Only problem was a worker was blowing his nose, away from the kitchen but right in the doorway where we were sitting as we were eating! THAT was disgusting! Go in the men's room! Or, a back room. Thanks!“
“It’s not a Waffle House, it’s a waffle home.“An irony-free zone where everything is beautiful and nothing hurts. Where everybody, regardless of race, creed, color, or degree of inebriation is welcomed. Its warm yellow glow, a beacon of hope and salvation, inviting the hungry, the lost, the seriously hammered, all across the south, to come inside. A place of safety and nourishment. It never closes, it is always, always faithful, always there for you.” - Anthony Bourdain“
“Hubby and I stopped for breakfast and glad we did. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the cinnamon roll crepe combo and it was quick, tasty and everything I was hoping it would be. My husband had the steak omlete with pancakes. He couldn't finish it all because he got full and said it was delicious. I hadn't been to IHOP in 10+ years but I definitely won't wait that long again!“
“I did a quick Best food search near me and ended up atthis joint. The wait time was 45 minutes in the middle of the day. Since I was eating alone, I was able to grab a chair at the bar immediately. The food was actually delicious. The only reason I gave it four out of five is it was just a tad bit salty (what do you expect from a dish that has pork belly and bacon? ?). I also talked to my friendly neighbors about their food and everyone had great things to say. While the food was good I was even more impressed by how friendly and customer focused the bar staff was. Loved the vibe. I would definitely go back!Parking: The free parking next-door has a new QR code scanning requirement. Also since I was driving a rental car, I had to go out to verify what state my license was from. No big deal. It worked out well, but unfortunately the hostess had to explain it several times before one of the older customers understood. I see how it could be confusing for some.“
“My daughter and I went on 1/23 around 4pm. I can't remember her name but she was absolutely delightful! Good food good drink good company!PS don't forget to ring the bell on your way out! At first I was intimidated- was it going to be loud and draw lots of attention and disturb those who were reading or working?! No! Regulars know all about it and it lifts the spirits of those behind the counter!Kid-friendliness: I've been bringing my daughter for years, always welcomed. She's 17 now...“
“It super cool when you special order food and they do it just right. Kids waffles got whopped cream and chocolate chips. Grilled chicken sandwich, with added lettuce and tomato, mayo on side. Perfect service, every time.Kid-friendliness: This waitress thought the first waffle was overdone, so she redid the whole thing, and the add chocolate chips and whipped cream . So much happiness ?!“
“First things first, this waffle house is super clean. You won't find a sticky table or nasty restroom here. The food was awesome and cooked up for us real fast. The waiter was super kind and suggested the strawberry waffle, which was absolutely delicious. Hasbrowns were perfectly crispy, too. Totally recommend going to this place at 1am like we did.“
“We do like going here but the cons are: the floor is usually greasy and I slid to my table last time, and the home fries are always undercooked in my opinion. They are always kinda hard. Pros: the purple drink is super good and the rest of breakfast is usually pretty good. Still not my favorite breakfast place though.“
“I've seen First Watch at home and was curious. Finally had a chance to go in Tennessee. Our first experience was AMAZING!!! From the food to the customer service, everything was great. I hope my experience back home will be just as amazing. We had the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl, BlackBerry Lemon Cream French Toast, Chicken Apple Sausage, French Toast, Kid's Chocolate chip pancakes with Turkey sausage. Everything was delicious especially the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl. It has the right amount of kick and the tortilla chips are made fresh. The lemon curd on the blackberry French toast was the best I've ever tasted. Loved everything about First Watch.“
