Lúa Vietnamese Restaurant is described as a great family shop with a cozy environment, attentive service, and delicious authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The lovely people who own and manage the restaurant have done an excellent job providing great food, culture, and hospitality. The team working there is nice and gets orders in quickly. The restaurant is always consistent and always delicious, and has become a staple in Rutherford County, with kind treatment of families, doing little things like bringing a small spoon and scissors for a daughter and giving her some pho broth to eat.

The broth is light and packed with flavor, hitting just the right sweet and savory notes, though one criticism is the portion sizes, with a wish for a larger portion than their large. The restaurant offers authentic Vietnamese food local to Smyrna, with the best banh mi sandwiches so far—delicious, fresh, flavorful—including classic and smoky pork, with a perfect amount of filling and toppings. Menu favorites include the Nem Nướng Nha Trang, the Viet iced coffee, A4 (fresh spring rolls), C4 (Bo La Lot), F2 (com suon bo dai han), the mixed Vietnamese coffee, the shrimp and pork spring rolls with peanut sauce, and the Dac Biet Pho. The pho has soft, perfect noodles and incredibly fresh meats, and the freshness of the roll and the veggies inside is mind boggling. This is hands down a new favorite Vietnamese restaurant and a spot that is insanely delicious, absolutely mind blowing, and amazing.
