“Really good biscuits and gravy!Parking: GravelWheelchair accessibility: As far as getting through the door, you'll be fine. Getting to the door will put you traversing a gravel parking lot. If you make it, once inside, the tables are very close and will need to be moved to accommodate. I can't see anyone there hesitating to help (staff or customers).“
“Southern Star has a larger restaurant in Chattanooga but the little store front on Signal Mountain packs a big punch. Great hot entrees differ daily and there is always a good choice of salads, sandwiches, and desserts. I only wish this wonderful place had a sit-down space.“
“OMG! I have a confession to make. I have never made fried chicken! But...I have eaten the most moist, flavorful fried chicken and that was at Home Folks Family Restaurant! I took a bite and knew I would be having more! You can have as much of any item you want including desserts. We were visiting friends of ours and this restaurant was their recommendation. It fills up quickly but worth the wait if there happens to be one. There aren't prices on the menu and our friends treated us so I don't know prices but it's basically like a buffet. You pay one price and eat all you want. The only difference is they bring all the food to you instead of you going up to a buffet. Enjoy!“
