Just visiting my home town and got some of the best bbq I remembered growing up! My family has heard me talk about it and now they know it's the best too! Thanks for the good food and got to see my 89 high school classmate Michael Baldwin too! 10 out of 10!
I have bought bbq from this place and family for a few years now .They have went above and beyond for my family and making sure everything was on time on point and sometimes on short notice.i used them over the weekend for my son's graduation and it was top notch .I think they will be having some more customers now cause everyone was asking who did this. And I was proud to say J.J Baldwin and Son Barbecue. We will do business with them alot more times in the future.Good job. Thanks
I’ve literally been eating here all my life. I grew up in their hot sauce and pulled pork barbecue. It’s delicious.

J.I. Baldwin and Son Barbecue is a popular restaurant in Springfield, Tennessee that has been serving the community for many years. The BBQ and house sauce are highly praised, with many customers calling the pulled pork sandwich huge and delicious. The vinegar-based slaw and baked beans are favorites, with the slaw described as sweet yet tangy and reminding some of homemade recipes. The fried pickles with jalapeno ranch are also a hit. Customers appreciate the friendly and hardworking staff, often mentioning how the restaurant goes above and beyond to meet their needs, even on short notice. The restaurant is known for its great family atmosphere and consistent quality, making it a staple in the area. While some note that the sweet tea could be sweeter and that they sometimes find it tricky to get BBQ sauce on their sandwiches, overall, visitors plan to return each time they are in Springfield. The restaurant’s original sauce and peach cobbler are especially recommended, contributing to its reputation as a beloved local spot.
