“Great little place down hwy 58. The atmosphere is nice. It makes you slow down and enjoy your lunch or dinner. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious. We just walked in and sat down. No wait. Our waitress was fast and friendly. I will be back!“

We try making this trip yearly on the kids birthday because they like going to Sand Island and for lunch they pick a place on the river to eat. Last year we went to the crowd nest, so that's what Kenzie wanted to do for her birthday today. Little did we know that a nice gentleman would be picking up our bill. I'm still in awe that someone would be willing to pick up a check especially a family of 4. I feel that thank you is not enough for your kind deed.“

“Six of us went to dinner this evening, and we sat out on the covered deck. The sun was setting, and the staff was kind enough to lower the blinds so we were very comfortable. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and the service was great. Best of all, the food was amazing. A few head catfish and said it was outstanding, and I had the steak salad. I haven't had steak that tender in a lot of years. Whatever you do, leave room for dessert. The selection had a stumped for a while, because it all sounded wonderful. I can't recommend this place enough!“
