“The book is so much better than the cover.I drove past this place twice thinking it was a used car lot.It has the classic old time look. The decor is old yet clean. Furniture shows its wear. What AJs lacks in decor it more than makes up on food, service, prices and personality.A couple of people needed to wait. Casual comment " busy as usual"This is a place where the locals go for breakfast. So many knew each other. And the waitresses knew everyone.Service was fast, friendly, and responsive. The food was excellent. Not fast food sugary stuff.I had the pancake breakfast - 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 French toast. $7My wife had the Philly Cheese steak omelet ( ? ). It was excellent. Large with lots of meat and cheese. $10Return trips will be made“
“Cute little place. A cabin, for sure. Great frozen custard, baked goods. I haven't had the soup or sandwiches yet but have heard good things about them. Go treat yourself!Parking: Small parking lot, but a nice drive through-if that helps.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking and a ramp to entrance.“
“GREAT place with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff was friendly, cheerful and service was top notch. I got the chicken livers and I must say, that they were perhaps the best I've ever eaten. The sides were equally spectacular with the mashed potatoes and boiled cabbage that I ordered ranking a 5 out of 5. They have decorated for Christmas and the whole place was so festive and bright. Music playing just set the tone for an amazing dining experience. What's not to LOVE? Do yourself a favor and co.e try them out. You'll leave FULL and SATISFIED.“
“This is a hidden gem. My favorite breakfast joint. Small, casual and laid back. The servers and the service is top notch in my opinion. The chicken fried steak is a large enough portion to satisfy me. All meals have satisfied me. Thank you Kali's. I don't eat out often but this is my go to.“
“What a gem ? in Crossville, TN. Charming old brick construction. I had a brew from a local brewery, and the fish and chips plus split a chocolate tort with my sweetheart. Their menu has quite a bit of variety, too, so something for everyone.“
“Had a wonderful evening at this delightful restaurant. Nice, comfortable decor. Seated quickly. Very friendly staff. And DELICIOUS food. Two of us had the Flat Iron steak, which was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I had the Captain's platter which had fried catfish, shrimp and clams. Everything was delicious, especially the shrimp. The other person in our party had eaten there many times and always has the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, which he said was amazing as well. We had the fried mushroom appetizer and chocolate torte for dessert. Oh my! Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Had the pleasure of meeting Maria, one of the owners, who was delightful. Will definitely be back, and would highly recommend.“
“This is one of the places we stopped at when we went to Cumberland Mountain state Park. They had a lot of great food. We tried some of everything. Typical bar but with great food. They have a breaded wing with an assortment of sauces, they also have naked and boneless. Great burgers also, check them out.“
“By far our favorite lunch spot in Crossville. The quality of the food is consistently great and the photos they post do not lie. The food comes out looking and tasting as good as the photos make it look. We've eaten at events they've catered as well and it just doesn't get any better!“
“My Son, his Wife and myself went to Cheesecakes Plus More (about a month ago) in Grandview, TN. We had the Chicago style pizza, sweet tea and finished with a slice of cheesecake. The pizza was awesome and very filling, enjoyed the sweet tea and the cheesecake, we were full and was just going to taste it but after the first bite, well, it was so good we had to have another until it was gone. Everything was very neat and clean including the restroom. We will definitely be returning here and highly recommend this cafe. Plenty of parking for even a big truck. They would have no problem here and having a delicious hot meal would be a bonus.“
“Sunday breakfast with my wife after church is always a treat! We got the Biscuit Benny, and a Grandpa’s Country Fried breakfast. We’re so thankful for the accommodating staff at this location, they are so helpful. What else can I say, are you hungry yet? Just get in the car and go, you won’t regret the choice. Blessings to y’all. ?❤️Parking: The nice thing about Cracker Barrel is the RV/Bus parking. When the wheelchair parking is full we just go around back with the van.Wheelchair accessibility: Maneuverability is tricky getting through the gift shop, but once in the dining area it gets better. Staff is attentive and willing to help with doors if needed.“
“Loved our server. She was very thoughtful, kept coffee freshened, and was attentive to my 5-year-old great granddaughters requests (egg & bacon on toast-NO PICKLE, please). We didn't get there until 5 p.m. after church & were starving! The food was so good that we kept adding during our meal, so we were a difficult bunch. Last year we began a New Year's day tradition by eating @ the Caryville, Tn. Waffle House. We've moved to Rockwood & had to drive 35 miles to the Crossville Waffle House. I am 76 & we are 4 generations. See y'all in Crossville next N.Y.Day!!Kid-friendliness: Mentioned above.“
“This is a restaurant in a TN State Park. It is a buffet. It is what it is. You have a salad bar and a hot bar. It is not 'fancy'. The staff are friendly. If you are a food snob... go away. If you like a hearty meal.. you will like it.We drive up from Chattanooga 1:30 hours each way 4 or 5 times a year.“
“My wife and I each had the cheeseburger basket. The burgers were hot and fully cooked. The fries were crispy and fresh. We are not golfers, but this restaurant was recommended by a local. We were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices and how quickly the food was delivered to our table.“
“Generous portions of fabulous BBQ. We had the ribs and pulled pork. Such great flavor with BBQ sauce on the side, just the way I prefer. The staff was so eager to please. It's a local favorite and I am new to the area, and now I can see why!“
