13 Best American Restaurants near Silver Point

“I have followed this page for quite a few years though I live in Ohio. The Mayor of Putnam County Tn. made a mention in a post and I have hoped to give them a try. Other than cooking for myself (or my Grandma's cooking), this is hands down the best southern food I have had in years. The staff was very polite. I am only disappointed that they are so far from home.“

My only complaint is about the TINY swivel-seat barstools.
We had a party of 4 and wanted to sit at the bar.
As soon as we sat down, we all looked at each other and said, “Uhhh, let’s get a table instead.”
We are average size people but these bar stool seats literally look like they’re made for children.
Very uncomfortable. I guarantee the bartenders must be losing out on lots of tips just because the barstools deter people from sitting at the actual bar.
I’ll be back (just not at the bar until they replace those barstools). #easyfix“

“We cook all of our burgers to the internal temperature of 165 degrees which is well done, but because we cook them on a smoker grill, they will still have a pink color, as smoking meats gives meat a pink color. I’m sorry you thought they were raw and threw them away. They were well done“

“We had our employee lunch today and had delicious lunches. We enjoyed a little of everything between all of us. My favorite was the honey Sammy, pasta salad & strawberry pretzel salad. Everything was so delicious and freshly prepared!“

“We eat here at least once per week, and the good food is served by friendly and competent servers! I recommend wings, sandwiches, burgers, and steaks! They also have some unique appetizers!“

“Great "meat and three"; excellent desserts. Usually super busy Thursday thru Saturday at the dinner hour but I've never heard anyone complain about the wait. Informal, family atmosphere with 4-top booths & tables for seating. Servers are frlendly and provide prompt service. If you like " county cooking " and don't want to do it yourself, try them, you won't be disappointed!“

“Another good meal at the Sligo Wheelhouse. Cheese fries, cole slaw, salads and fish tacos good eats. Fish tacos could have had more seasoning. Katherine and other servers friendly and attentive, great ambiance and bar. Sarah and other dock staff enthusiastic and competent. Highly recommend.“

“Got breakfast and it was less then good. Bacon was burnt along with biscuits so bad I had yo throw one away. My Omelette was okay but I have had better.. Hoping the cook was just having a bad day. Maybe their dinners are better. But definitely won't get breakfast from there again“

“Recently my husband ate breakfast here after visiting dale hollow lake. The food is great and the service was even better! He left his driver's license there by accident and they even contacted us and worked with us to get it back to him. I will definitely be visiting this establishment again when we're in the area. Above and beyond customer service! 👍“
