The Lodge at Natchez Trace Reviews
My husband and I were looking forward to our stay at the Lodge at Natchez Trace State Park. We were excited about the buffet dinner and a nice glass of wine.
However, this was not the place. We checked into our room only to find it dirty. The toilet had been used and you couldn't flush it and it wouldn't stop running. Also, there was a very loud dehumidifier running in the room . We tried calling the 4 emergency numbers only to find that the phone didn't work. Also, this wasn't...read full review
The 13 miles of horse trails are fun with several loops. The footing is sandy and terrain pretty easy. You can also ride hundreds of miles of forest roads. The 13 stall barn is nice and the campground is just down the road. This place has a lot to offer to non riders as well like boating and fishing lakes, swimming pool, hiking trails and an on site restaurant. We’ll be back! www.tnhorsetrails.com
We had the best time in our 2 day stay. Unfortunately, we noticed a flat the night before we were to check out. Called front desk at Pin Oak Lodge, asked for assistance and it was sent. Ranger come out to check it out and brought what we needed the next morning. The Cub Creek Store offered a lot of choices off the beaten path. Cashier had a great personality and very welcoming. Over all experience was 5 ⭐. We will be back. Thank you all for making our weekend getaway a success...read full review

The Lodge at Natchez Trace offers clean older rooms with friendly staff in a beautiful location near Pin Oak Lake. The on-site restaurant serves buffets and menu items, but is currently open only on weekends, from Friday through Sunday. Nearby, guests can find camping sites and cabins for additional accommodation. Despite being older, the lodge provides great amenities like a pool, fire pit, and playground. Guests can enjoy kayaking on the lake and hiking without needing to drive elsewhere, with walking trails nearby that offer great views. While some guests note that the decor is outdated, the rooms are described as nice and large, making it a great place for a getaway and family reunions. The lodge will be closing in December 2024 and will be demolished in March 2025 to make way for a new construction, but until then, it remains a lovely spot for relaxation and outdoor activities.
