“Korkoro is located within a Chef’s hall. We went in looking for good sushi, and we definitely found it there! We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the chef’s professionally carry out their craft. The fish source is listed on the wall, so you know exactly what you are getting. The service was friendly and prompt. The yakitori was done to perfection, the sushi was yummy/fresh and the salad was spot on. We ordered a few rolls, sashimi, chicken wing yakitori, shiitake mushroom yakitori, shishito peppers and cucumber salad. The cool thing is that you can order from other locations within the chef hall and eat together, regardless of your choice. The vibe was modern, and chill. We got craft beers from the bar. I’d recommend this location for anyone looking for good sushi. We would return when back in Houston.“

“This is my favorite place to hangout with my friends. The servers were always nice and attentive until tonight. We came around 11:30pm with a party of 10 for a small birthday gathering and we acknowledged the kitchen closes at 11:45pm as well as the fact that our IDs will be checked for alcohol consumption. Our server gave us attitude while taking our orders, checking our IDs and raised her voice while telling us it’s their policy to do so, which we couldn’t think of the reason why we have to receive that attitude from her. I would still recommend this place because the food and the atmosphere is great, too bad we didn’t have a good experience tonight. It takes a lot for me to write a review for a restaurant so please retrain her so that your service quality can be consistent.“

“I had the Shoyu truffle ramen and it was probably the best ramen I've ever had in the US. I was born and raised in Japan, and this reminded me of being back home. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing as well. I am definitely going to be back again soon.“

“5 star for food + pro service + fast cooking. I dont eat pork, so ramen was usually out of my option. But they have chicken ramen with chicken soup (or soup base). I could enjoy the ramen after a long time. The tempura sushi was amazing, im definitely coming back for it. And the final dish; the sultan of dishes! It reminds me Lakerda, in Turkey we have similar vinegar seared fish for enjoying Turkish raki or wine. And the Japanese version of it is made of mackerel. Taste very delicious and fresh. Much better than the fried version. I love it!“
