“This is a very chill spot for drinks with a small outdoor patio. Inside is cozy, with a cheers like vibe. Drinks are cheap. No food served inside but it is next to a columbian food truck. TouchTunes. Usually can find 1-2 chess games being played (boards are stored with the bar tenders and are behind the bar). Parking can be hard to find on weekends“

“We had gone to another local establishment to eat corn beef and cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day. We left completely dissatisfied. We decided to try B&B. We hadn’t been to B&B for several years. What a pleasant surprise and an excellent experience. Aaron, the manager,, met us as we entered. He was very enthusiastic in helping us get a table and making sure we were seated. Our waitresses and all of the staff We interacted with were terrific and helpful. The food was great the whole experience was fun. Just want to make sure that this message is very positive and the food was REALLY great!“

“The "North Side" is one of the last oh the true Northside of Houston dive bars.The place where a fellow, or a gal can drop in after work where the room and the beer are both ice cold you can talk to another fella or gal who may or may not be your equal at a competitive company.Not to trade company secrets just to talk about what's what.A place where you might dance to the jukebox or shoot a little pool.Where good friends meet.Now that we've got Holly behind the bar it will be coming even better place.Holly is a good girl and a very professional Bar Tender. Many of her customers have followed her from her last place of employment.Although I'm not a drinker there are times when I want to get out and just socialize with people from the neighborhood. “Gonzo does karaoke on Wednesday night and he's one of the best karaoke hosts in Houston. Like, for real. I trust very few people to do my sound and he nails it every time. “This was a pit stop after we did a run with one of Houston's running clubs, Freaks. The drinks were good, and pricing was decent. We had 4 bears for $13. Bonus, they have a barber shop right outside as well that came in clutch for a quick beard shape and trim. Our barber was Cheto and was great.“

And just because the sign on the mural said happy hour every day till 9 pm and I like to read it pulled us in. Also, because I like to explore. When we get in, we learned that in two years of this bartender bartending at this bar I was the first person who challenged the sign outside because the Real! happy hour is only till 7 pm. While he can’t give us the happy hour special I made use of the daily special which today happened to be the Irish whiskey for $5. Get a girl get it get it get a girl. I got an old-fashioned and my partner got a Paloma and we loved our drinks. And we also played music on the juke box. I love the high-tech Ness of this bar because we could play the jukebox remotely through barcode and I opened and closed my tab remotely through my phone as well overall loved the seamless high-tech experience.“

“Long time regular of this local watering hole to my own detriment, and unfortunately I've had to bear witness to the slow deterioration of the location in general but there's still hope for it in my heart. It might not ever return to its glory days but if the toxic drama that often pops off in there could be eliminated as well as some other problem areas It could at least be respectable again, and that would be good enough.“

FOOD WAS AMAZING!! and the red beans and rice were perfect. Could have just ate that with the bangin cornbread but the whole plate was seasoned perfectly. A must try if you’re in the Houston area.
