China Star has been in our community for 35 years. The food was delicious! The restaurant was clean and the staff was very professional. The buffet was outstanding and we will be going back again. Thanks to the owner Jack and his family who makes our Abilene community proud!Parking: Outside the restaurant was clean.
I've loved this place for decades. It needs to be updated, but that doesn't stand in the way of great food. Their chicken with black bean sauce is amazing. & when I saw it wasn't on the buffett any longer, the owner had some (a full order) made just for me.

I loved getting Egg drop soup to-go every time I got sick as a kid, now as an adult, I still love it. I’m very surprised to see they have much of the same staff since I was 3 years old, but that’s a bit of the joy of it. I’m glad they got to watch me grow over the years and enjoy every bit of this restaurant. I wish everyone working here very well in life. The place may look dingy, but that’s just the authentic Abilene touch
