“I discovered Samad Cafe on Instagram and suggested to my family that we stop by during our trip to Dallas from Chicago. I'm glad we did. The food was outstanding. I ordered the chelo kabab, which I shared with my father, while my mother enjoyed the lamb shank. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

What made the experience especially memorable was Samad himself. He spoke with my parents in Farsi, their first language, and made them feel less like customers and more like guests in his home. The warm hospitality, combined with the excellent food, made this a meal we will not forget.“

“Just stopped by Abu Omar Halal in Richardson and was seriously impressed. The place looks super clean, modern, and well organized from the moment you walk in. The digital menu boards are bright and easy to follow, the counter setup is smooth, and the whole restaurant has a fresh professional vibe.

The menu selection looks amazing shawarma, falafel, family platters, brisket shawarma, kids meals, desserts, and more. You can tell they put effort into both quality and presentation. Even the setup around the register and drink station gives off a polished and welcoming atmosphere.

Service was friendly, the environment felt comfortable, and the restaurant looked ready to handle both quick lunch runs and family dinners. If you’re in the Richardson area and craving halal food with a modern touch, Abu Omar is definitely worth checking out. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!“

“My best friend and I decided to stop in here and support local instead of hopping over to Cava and Im so glad we did. The fattoush salad is so fresh and personally my favorite. BUT the falafels are hands down the most fresh, moist falafels I’ve ever had (and I’ve easily ventured to over 100 Mediterranean spots in my life). 10/10 for the quality, taste and freshness especially for the price.“

“Fadi’s in Frisco is hands down the best food and customer service experience I have ever had in my life. Wail, the General manager is incredibly knowledgeable about every dish and treated us like family. We were beyond pleased with our choice and every bite was a sensory experience. “Are you looking for a great shawarma? Look no further! This place is the best in town for all Mediterranean food including falafel.
They also serve delicious authentic Syria breakfast.
The only problem is the service is very disappointing as the staff are overworked and cannot serve their clients well.“

“Always a great experience. Ordered delivery from their website about 8 times now, never have any issues. The food is always filling for the price, and well packaged. I order the sandwich gyro which isn't structurally meant for travel, but whoever wraps this does a great job every time. The team working today at 11:30 every one of you needs a shout out.

Edit: Can't give anymore stars for this, but they switched their fork packaging to a lower plastic waste variety and that needs to given brownie.“
