My absolute favorite Italian food place, over Olive Garden as far as food, price and service, but not atmosphere. The Vibe is rustic, not Italian. Salads and soups are great! Pizza is different than chain restaurants.
Driving to San Antonio from Hidalgo, we wanted to eat on this New Years Day.
I saw that New York Joe’s was a 4.4 and was open.
The place smells like it needs a major cleaning. A major cleaning could make it a pleasant smell.
Food was delicious, I had the Fettucini Chicken Alfredo and it was good.
Calimari appetizer was good as well.

Alice Texas can’t appreciate such a great restaurant in their back yard. We ordered both the lobster ravioli and the shrimp scampi. Both were over the top! The lobster sauce was fantastic! Soup was amazing. Thank you New York Joes Italian Restaurant. I will tell everyone I know.
