“Good spot to watch sports with a mostly local feel. Friendly and professional staff. Wednesday night trivia is fun for groups of friends. How busy it gets vary widely based on when you go and what sports/events are going on. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.

“This establishment is "EXCELLENT".....I have been there 5 times, each time on business this year, every time we come to Allen, usually every other month.....My son and the rest of our group have been here close to 20 times. Our 1st time there we sat in the bar, the young lady suggested you can also eat in there as well well order from the bar. We took her advice and never looked back.....Our waiter the 1st time was Mike...This guy is 2nd to None!!!......Made many suggestions, which were great, and we ordered. The food & drinks were Excellent!...Next time, there were about 20 of us at 2-3 tables, again, we had Mike for our waiter.....he did have a little help which is normal for the size of the group. He took care of All our needs, just Perfect!...He is the 'GOLD' standard what waiter's, hosts, and servers should be or anybody in this type of business!.......The restaurant has been very clean too, including the outside areas, restrooms and parking lot!...Never a problem at this fine establishment!......I am very critical on my revues too, as I was a recent retired state & government contractor inspector!....The employee, Mr. Mike, He is absolutely Great!....He is what you would call a J.O.A.T. "Jack of All Trades"..........Please, Other employees or people in this type of business,....."Read & Heed".......Hats Off to a "5 STAR" establishment!!!!!“

“Stopped by to grab a drink and the atmosphere was so fun and festive for Halloween! I regret forgetting the name of our bartender/ server, but he was great! I was looking for a cider and he made an excellent recommendation for a pear/ Prosecco tasting cider that I enjoyed! Rare to find these! My husband enjoyed his cocktail and we shared some fries. “Small place but plenty of room. Nice quiet so you can have conservation while you listen to live music on Fri. Sat. Food was real restaurant style. Good menu. Large wall menu of the different wines, beers, chef specials, cocktails.

“Love that Lantern St. Grill & Tap House is a great host for our Alabama watch parties! Despite the Tide in Texas group deciding they would no longer "host" parties, Alabama fans are still welcome to come! Several of us who are not in agreement with that decision will continue to support Lantern St. and finish the season out strong! Roll Tide!“

“Favorite bar in the area. Food is phenomenal, all made from scratch. Nothing disappoints. Service is extraordinary. Cece, Lucy, and Sam are amazing as well as the day bartenders. All of the regulars are gems and welcome newcomers with open arms. Karaoke is fun on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Make sure you come for .50 wing Wednesdays! They are wonderful!“

“About maybe 13-15 years ago I came here from England after seeing a friend in Dallas. Some dude walked in with a guitar, got on stage, asked if there were any musicians in the audience and eventually put together 4-5 other people who, after speaking for perhaps 10 minutes, played the most incredible, Pink Floyd / Blues music I’d ever heard. I was blown away. As the guy left later that night, I asked what his name was and he said “Buck.” And he signed me a Dollar that said “thanks for coming to listen to Texas Blues” and I’ve only just found that Dollar, that’s why I’m writing this review now. But I never forgot that night. I asked how it was possible that strangers could play the best blues music after just a few minutes of talking and he said “we just agreed to play in the key of C”. As a non musician, that stuck with me. Now I play guitar and it’s all thanks to Buck. So, wherever you are, buddy. You’re remembered fondly by an English dude who met you over a decade ago.“

“We got a new waitress this time. She is polite and everything, but doesn't know the menu very well and double charged us for a glass of wine. We were disappointed at first, then our usual waiter came along. He made the difference: bring us the usual dish, taking care of our requests quickly... We still love this place!“

“When we went we were the only ones dining there so we didn't have to wait for a table. Our food server Rogelio was very professional and courteous. Food prices were very reasonable and they have a pretty good variety of items on their menu. I just had a basic hamburger and it was well prepared and very tasty. My dinner companion had the grilled salmon with steam vegetables and mashed potatoes, and she liked it as well. Overall it's a nice little restaurant in the lobby of the hotel.“
