“I am not typically a fan of Tex Mex cuisine, but my husband enjoys it, so I decided to give it another try. My husband suggested we visit Mi Cocina, as it is conveniently located near our residence and had received a 5-star rating online. We arrived around noon today. Our server, Jairo, was helpful in recommending a dish, which proved to be delicious, featuring a combination of various appetizers. The food was warm and served promptly. Jairo also suggested drinks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff consistently displayed friendly smiles, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Jairo and the staff deserve a 5-star rating from us.“

“The food… delicious!!! The chicken soup is so next level, I can’t describe how much I loved the soup. Nothing like I’ve ever had in my life. The fish and chips with jalapeño hush puppies are delicious. The burger is outstanding. Can’t say a bad thing about the food. The beers. WOW!!! The brewers are mad crazy inventive with the beer. I did a flight of 4 for $10. Limited myself to just the 4 because I had to drive. If I hadn’t been driving. I probably could have tried another 8, they all sounded so good. Good thing I don’t live in the area cause I’d probably go broke eating lunch and dinner every day“

“Great food and friendly team. I had the double chessburger and added bacon and that was too large a meal. Buns are soft, food is fresh and don't waste your time to go big because the single would have been enough. They need add some sports on a TV or two for weekend sports and that would have sent it over the top.“

“What a hidden gem I found ! Came for lunch and the garden out front is what I first noticed and what really drew me in. I took a moment to admire it before coming inside. Diverse life in there!
I ordered ceviche and a mango mojito. Both were delicious !! I then ordered the street corn which lacks some flavor but still tastes good! Bryan was my server and he is extremely nice and accommodating! Constantly checking up on me and has great conversation. I’ll definitely be back and recommend to anyone desiring some delicious authentic food and drinks!“

“We had hummus and pita bread as an appetizer. The pita was hot, freshly made, and the hummus was delicious! We had a grilled sirloin steak, veggies and rice, and grilled lamb chops with veggies and rice. The veggies were steamed and fresh. The rice had a wonderful flavor to it. We will certainly be back, and highly recommend it. The atmosphere was great, as it is a converted two story house. Our room was simply decorated with pictures and well designed color scheme.“

However, they did forget my chicken strips and fries, but that happens sometimes on a to-go order ... Had no problem reimbursing me the next day, but then forgot my ranch, so go figure? Absolutely hands down the best food I’ve eaten in Texas so far! I’m already planning to spend my birthdays here for years to come if all goes to plan. The staff are exceptionally kind, the cooks nailed the meat perfectly … especially the moist tenderloin. 😋🤤 Out of this world! Their hot BBQ sauce is worth every penny if you can grab the big bottle.

We came on a Sunday after church and still found plenty of seating, even a party room in the back. As a carpenter, I appreciated the gorgeous handmade tables… solid wood, 🪵 sturdy, and beautifully finished. The atmosphere was welcoming for my big family, and the staff at the register even let me sample meats before ordering. Once I tried the ham 🐷🐖🐽 and then the moist tenderloin (like filet mignon! 🥩), I was sold.

Better than Hardee’s, twice the food for half the price,💲 and no long lines. Nearly as spacious as Buc-ee’s, with plenty of room to enjoy. Truly heaven sent food… 🥩🍗

“I just started going to this location bc it's on my way to work and I don't leave early enough to go past my work to my usual location.

I was pleasantly surprised. The store is a bit smaller than I expected, with a smaller staff. They worked just as hard as a staff of 6. They were like a well oiled machine. It took a few mins to get my order since I came at a very busy time of morning, but my coffee was deeeelicious.
I am particular and look for a certain taste in my coffee order. They hit it on the head. :)“
