“First time checking out The Tipsy Chicken on a Thursday and had a great time. Sophie and Amber were fantastic behind the bar — friendly, quick, and easy to talk to. Ryan and John were great company too, fun to swap stories with and hear about the local scene. Shoutout to the KJ for starting my night off right — after my first song he sent me over for a free shot, which Amber poured up. Little touches like that really make a place memorable. As someone who’s been in the DJ/KJ world for years, I’ve seen slow nights turn into packed houses with just a few creative twists: • “First-time singer” spotlights to get shy guests up. • Small bar tab or drink ticket for the crowd favorite performance. • Short themed rounds (“90’s throwbacks,” “duet challenge”) to keep things fresh. The Tipsy Chicken has an awesome base of people and staff — it wouldn’t take much to make Thursdays one of the busiest nights in town. I’ll definitely be back. “So we went to Rodeo Goat for a few drinks before dinner. I asked our bartender, Anna, for an extra sweet bourbon Manhattan on the rocks. This is probably not a common order. She was gone for quite a while and I said to my husband, "She probably had to look up how to make it." Well, she did and it was outstanding. I wish more bartenders would do this!! I have been to numerous upscale restaurants in the area and, honestly, this is the best drink I have ever had. Anna was a delightful, professional bartender and a credit to Rodeo Goat. “Loved the espresso! These guys know coffee! While they don't have a lot of seating inside, we got a table and enjoyed a macchiato, a latte, and a pumpkin spice latte. In addition to great latte, they sell coffee beans as well, and there were several people that came in and purchased fresh roasted coffee beans while we were enjoying our lattes. It was clear from their macchiato (and latte) that they know how to roast coffee, so I highly recommend either getting an espresso drink and/or coffee beans from Coffee Del Rey.“

“The food… delicious!!! The chicken soup is so next level, I can’t describe how much I loved the soup. Nothing like I’ve ever had in my life. The fish and chips with jalapeño hush puppies are delicious. The burger is outstanding. Can’t say a bad thing about the food. The beers. WOW!!! The brewers are mad crazy inventive with the beer. I did a flight of 4 for $10. Limited myself to just the 4 because I had to drive. If I hadn’t been driving. I probably could have tried another 8, they all sounded so good. Good thing I don’t live in the area cause I’d probably go broke eating lunch and dinner every day“

“Loved our visit to Lockwood. Our bartender, Kylie was top notch and super knowledgeable in her craft. She even made a drink she created after I mentioned wanting something "minty" and it was so good. We also ordered off menu, a Southside, and it was perfect. Juan assisted and recommended their mule with hibiscus vodka and it was my favorite of the night. Super appreciated the friendly vibes and conversation with them both. Very clean as well. “Four Bullets has great staff and treats their regulars well, many of the regulars have been going there for years and that speaks volumes.They are continuously helping their neighbors and organizations they are fond of, like the North TX Wild Life center.The Wild Life center has done many events at Four Bullets with no issues, but there is always a bad Apple that has to ruin it.“
