“You want Cuban food? Well this place is legit. The Cuban or the Ropa Vejia, sandwich tastes awesome. Couple that with a Pappa Rellena and you will go away delightfully full. The Fritta Cubana (Cuban Hamburger) is my favorite at the moment. And don't forget to try a Pastelito with a Cuban coffee for dessert. The food is always served fresh along with very friendly service. M&D“

“Loved our visit to Lockwood. Our bartender, Kylie was top notch and super knowledgeable in her craft. She even made a drink she created after I mentioned wanting something "minty" and it was so good. We also ordered off menu, a Southside, and it was perfect. Juan assisted and recommended their mule with hibiscus vodka and it was my favorite of the night. Super appreciated the friendly vibes and conversation with them both. Very clean as well. “Tried this place because I saw Sam’s video. Ordered the Jalepeno shredded pork and my friend got the tea smoked duck w/pancake. Also ordered 1 egg roll. The jalepeno pork was delicious! Great flavor and the pork didn’t have that weird pork taste some Asian places have. The crispy smoked duck pancake was awesome and worth the steeper price. I wasn’t a fan of the sauce alone, but in the pancake was excellent. The eggroll was a decent eggroll and the duck sauce that came with it was the best sauce I’ve had with an eggroll. The lady working was sweet and was working her butt off with the 5 tables she had. Felt great to support a local business.

The restaurant itself is out dated but the tables and utensils were clean. The atmosphere added to the experience and the background music was just perfection.“

No smoke and mirrors, just real down to earth comfort food from soups and bibimbap to sizzling plates of food, plus authentic banchan.
We were searching for Galbitang, and we found it! They also have a long list of other soups you would like. We also got LA Galbi and Osam…and the $2 sikhye.

Don’t expect food photos this time, we were too hungry. So just come by! 🤭

Update: we came back to try more of their food, and it did not disappoint. We also remembered to take food photos this time LOL
The mackerel was so yummy, and the Octopus Bibimbap tasted better than the one we ate in Seoul 😊 We also ordered Je-yuk and another LA Galbi because why not?“

We mentioned it was a birthday dinner and the staff went above and beyond. They brought out the cutest mascot, helped us celebrate, and made the whole experience so much fun. We were all laughing and taking pictures the entire time.

The AYCE menu is a great deal, and honestly the quality hasn't changed at all. Everything was fresh and delicious.

“If you are interested in a co-working space, I would highly recommend Communion! They have a unique, cozy coffee shop along with a separate large area for co-working. I was there for a business meeting and Crandell was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The work space was quiet and comfortable. Also, the staff in the coffee shop are extremely knowledgeable and as a bonus- allergy friendly. They definitely accomplished their goal of having a community type feel. Go support this local business!“
