“Loved our visit to Lockwood. Our bartender, Kylie was top notch and super knowledgeable in her craft. She even made a drink she created after I mentioned wanting something "minty" and it was so good. We also ordered off menu, a Southside, and it was perfect. Juan assisted and recommended their mule with hibiscus vodka and it was my favorite of the night. Super appreciated the friendly vibes and conversation with them both. Very clean as well. We will be back!“

“You want Cuban food? Well this place is legit. The Cuban or the Ropa Vejia, sandwich tastes awesome. Couple that with a Pappa Rellena and you will go away delightfully full. The Fritta Cubana (Cuban Hamburger) is my favorite at the moment. And don't forget to try a Pastelito with a Cuban coffee for dessert. “Giant slice. Cold soda. Excellent atmosphere. A wonderful old school pizza place that has hot pizza by the slice or giant pizzas to-go. Reminds me of going to a place called Tino's at Richardson Square Mall in the early to mid 90's. A+, 5 out of 5, 100%. Whatever the rating you like, go have a slice at Schiano's.“

“Four Bullets has great staff and treats their regulars well, many of the regulars have been going there for years and that speaks volumes.They are continuously helping their neighbors and organizations they are fond of, like the North TX Wild Life center.The Wild Life center has done many events at Four Bullets with no issues, but there is always a bad Apple that has to ruin it.“

“This Turkish restaurant had beautiful atmosphere and lovely service. We went on a Saturday at noon. They have plenty of seating, We had 5 people in our group and the bill was only $52! The bread came out fresh(you can see them making it and come out of the oven). It’s free refill for the Turkish tea(self-serve). We had the Turkish breakfast, and bc I can’t have dairy, they took out the non-vegan stuff out and charged me less for it and made me totally new bread without dairy and eggs! Didn’t like that I had to blot all the grease off my sandwich bun but didn’t detract from the flavor, front doesn’t seem to be well staffed, no one was around to ask questions about ordering. Inside is a bit dirty for me. Needs some detailed cleaning, lots of surfaces that get touched a lot show they aren’t wiped down enough. .“

“If you are interested in a co-working space, I would highly recommend Communion! They have a unique, cozy coffee shop along with a separate large area for co-working. I was there for a business meeting and Crandell was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The work space was quiet and comfortable. Also, the staff in the coffee shop are extremely knowledgeable and as a bonus- allergy friendly. They definitely accomplished their goal of having a community type feel. Go support this local business!“

“The weather in Texas suddenly turned quite hot today. On top of that, I had already finished the water in my bottle, so I found this drink shop nearby. They offer a full range of coffee and other beverages, and the space is designed just right, comfortable and inviting.

I chose a mango green tea with lemon. It tasted light and refreshing, not too sweet, and nicely chilled. It turned out to be a perfect spot during my afternoon schedule to rest my legs, stretch a bit, and take a proper break.“

“I have come here pretty frequently for the past 4 years and I've had absolutely zero bad experiences. The food is fresh and high quality, prices are very reasonable, everything tastes great.... I could keep going. Best milk teas I've had in a while. The owners also very friendly.

Great place to study, talk with friends or just chill by yourself. Not many places to sit, though, so show up at less busy hours for better luck with that!

You can see many local businesses employees and local residents come by for a quick and delicious meal. Definitely check out their stirred beef and banh mi. They have BUN MAM noodle as well. Family run restaurant and they keep the authenticity of Vietnamese mom and pop homemade cuisine as close as possible. They got other variations of Vietnamese food but the stirred beef is a must have.
