“We stopped in Alpine for a few days on our way to Big Bend and found this gem. Great history, great place and great bar. They offered a very unique machine frozen drink - a frozen gin and tonic that was the BOMB! So good and fun. Bartender Molly was friendly, informative and great at her job. Definitely a spot to return to when we head this way again.“

Ole Crystal Bar Bar • $
410 E Holland Ave, Alpine

“Big place if your looking to play games there’s pool tables friendly people out bartender Fernanda was really niceThe patio is the real place to be the plasma cut fireplaces are something to see and the live music was a plus there are large comfy Adirondack chairs to set in and enjoy your beverages they do not serve food any longer and that was a disappointment and it doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s well worth opening the door and going insideI give this place 10 stars“

Saddle Club Alpine Bar • $$
211 E Holland Ave, Alpine

“Love the atmosphere, very laid back but trendy at the same time. I'm not a very experimental eater so their menu is a bit funky to me but their loaded fries are to die for. I would go there for them alone. Be careful of the Bloody Marys. They are majorly spicey but still great. And loved that they had Red's Apple beer on tap when I was there. I'll be stopping in this weekend for some fries.“

Railroad Blues Bars • $

“"When the sun goes down on my side of townThat lonesome feelin' comes to my doorThe whole world turns blueThere's a rundown bar 'cross the railroad tracks" "But I love this barIt's my kind of placeJust toein' around the dance floorPuts a big smile on my face"Would be two lyrics (commonly heard at Wednesday Karaoke) to describe this place. Love it. Thanks to everyone putting this place together!“
