Looked for a lunch place in Alpine. This place worked out great. Right on the main street. Had tacos and chips and guac. Everything was good. Service was great and personal. Walked around and saw some of the building murals, which Alpine is known for.
Food was decent. Nothing special at all. Probably understaffed but realllllly slow service. Food came out quick but waiter was nowhere to be seen. Multiple other tables literally tracked him down to pay/order.Beans and rice were pretty good
Actually our group wound up there because everyone else was closed. Uncovered a gem. I will definitely go back when I'm in Alpine. The food was great, the waitress was gullible and sweet and efficient, and Old Gringo was a lot of fun.
