There were no guaranteed wheat free items for an entree. I ended up having two appetizers. The restaurant was too loud. We sat in a corner table for two, we had to almost shout at each other to have a conversation. We were offered dessert though again no wheat free options. I am not one of those customers who chooses a wheat free or gluten free diet by choice. My allergy is so severe that I must be very diligent in avoiding wheat. I understand it's difficult for restauranteurs.
I have eaten here on many occasions when visiting Alpine and had had great experiences in the past. The food was excellent as usual but one employee lacked good customer skills and management made it hard for other employees. Saturday October 18, 2025 at 6:15pm. We waited for over 20 minutes and finally asked to speak to someone and was told he was the general manager. Finally got a server who was very nice. I fount it really rude of the GM to not even acknowledge us or care at all that the service was so horrific. We went out of way to go eat there and to have that bad of service made us not to want to go back.
