Service provided by bartender/waitress was outstanding. Kitchen not so much this evening ... steak off by two doneness levels and dessert was missing a key item. Been to Reata in Alpine multiple times. Usually top notch food prep. I'm guessing this was a one night exception. Will be back.
Dom rocked! The place was a bit busy but he was doing a great job checking on folks, getting orders, etc. He had a backup and she was nice. We shared a plate knowing we were having dessert. Thank goodness we did. We had the citrus chicken then apple crisp. The Reata was on pointe, as expected.
My husband & I enjoyed our experience & the majority of the food. I ordered the prime rib special Medium....it came very well done & marginally tough....but it was tasty.
