“We visited State St. Pizza Co. this evening after the Tree Lighting and we were very impressed by the whole experience. The food was fantastic, but even better was the staff. Every person we spoke to was so kind and intentional. My daughter befriended Lily, and she took so much time to listen to our little 7 year old tell her all the things she had on her mind. Lily made her feel so important and she talked about her the rest of the evening! Thank y’all for being awesome. Also, try the Neon Moon. It’s amazing!”

“Amazing local business that supports the community, they serve excellent drinks, and the customer service is spot on. Yes, the line can get long but it’s 100% worth the wait. I got the Sophia IYKYK and my mother in law got a sugar free iced coffee that rivals any regular drink out there. Can’t recommend this place enough.”

“I have driven by this place many times. Recently, I stopped in and gave it a try. The Brisket was amazing. The smoked ham was also delicious. I love brisket stuffed jalapeño poppers, and their Texas Twinkie’s were some of the best I’ve ever enjoyed. I commute twice a week from WF to the metroplex. This is my new go to spot. Highly recommend.”

“Today was the first time we’ve come here. It was very clean, with welcoming decor. We were greeted with a smile and had fantastic service. We ordered from the brunch menu, Shrimp and Grits and Chicken and Waffles *chef’s kiss* Both were absolutely delicious and we would definitely order them again if there weren’t a dozen other things on the menu that caught our eyes. “This is a great place for healthy meal options. Rate here in Decatur. They have pre cut and fresh fruit and veggie fridge options ready to go. Offer good variety of meal options. Love the Avocado toast and açaí bowls. This is NOT a sit down joint and during busy times it can get cramped inside. They do take phone orders which is a quick in and out experience. So glad to have them in town!!”

“This was my first time to try a smoothie from Scooter's. I had heard good things!! But today I actually got one... It was fantastic! I had a matcha smoothie with vanilla protein. It was superb! I was sad when I got to the bottom of the cup. I will definitely go back when I'm treating myself!!The service was great too. We were a car full of independent orders and the order-taker was patient and polite!”

“The food was good. The service was not. Between having to have items taken off our ticket, and the poor attitude of the cashier I'm very disappointed. The waiter had a great attitude and was personable but putting items on my ticket I didn't receive and then the cashier arguing with me when I asked them to be removed is more then I care to deal with.”

“This is my favorite Ameri-Mex fast food restaurant.
At 99% of the locations I've visited, the food is consistently very good with fresh crunchy corn shells, soft flour shells that hold together, tasty quality ingredients and not stingy with the shredded cheddar.
Along with soda, they have unsweetened and southern-style sweet tea (whoo-doggy) and lemon packets if you ask.”

“The Torta de Milanesa the milanesa itself was tender and tasty. The avocado, lettuce, tomato, and a bit of spicy sauce added great flavors. It was a satisfying and filling sandwich.

The Agua de Mango was refreshing and not too sweet. It had a nice, natural mango flavor that was perfect for a warm day.

The service was quick and friendly, and the place had a cozy vibe. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Taco Rico Island for a tasty meal. I’m looking forward to trying more from their menu!”
