“Me and my wife are from out of town we were looking for just a small place to have a few drinks and kick back and release them stress we were told about this place so we went and checked it out the bartender's name was Renee she was very friendly very awesome and worked very hard I'm so glad we went there we will make it a frequent stop when we come through Amarillo“

“This place has THE best steak I have ever had…and I’ve had a lot of steak.🥩 the servers seem to think of everything so that southern hospitality is really felt. The aesthetic is a fun ol’ country western vibe and kind of feels like a comical movie set or a theme park. The beer is GOOD, they are doing it right (ordered the Rattlesnake IPA 🍺). And the dinner rolls…don’t get me started on those; they are hot, sweet, and tender, I could make a meal of em. Honestly on first glance I would’ve passed this place up as I’m not a fan of the aesthetic (though it is well done for those who are) but a family member recommended this place and after trying it i will ALWAYS ALWAYS stop here for a damn good steak dinner. 👌 Chefs kiss.“

“Coconutz is an excellent example of a good hone town bar! This place is a locals favorite. The owner Barrett is a very friendly person and is often there. He is a local artist as well. Coconutz is a place that is inviting and makes everyone feel welcome. The jukebox is always playing. You can play a game of washers or sit out on the patio and enjoy the weather. This is a great place to relax, chill and connect with your friends.“

“It is a little weird to be in a smoking bar. Honestly that's a plus though even though I don't smoke myself. The happy hour price on bottles is great. It's the unfortunate experience of having to discuss my order with the bartender that earns the three stars.(I actually bumped this up a star. But it wouldn't have hurt for the bartender to have have begun the conversation a bit more upbeat.)“

“Last night we decided to go to the Hoffbrau Steak and Grill House for dinner. If you are ever in Amarillo, don't go here expecting German type food. But please try it anyway for some awesome American-Texan food. I had the Smoked Sirloin with corn on the cob and Tonya had the Shrimp and Grits. Both meals were great and the service was very good also. Tonya also a Pretty in Pink drink (which was a little too tart for my taste, but she really liked it) All in all, I would rate this place a 10 out of 10!“

“What a cool bar. The awesome entrance, the delicious food, and great drinks all impressed me. Angel, the manager, made us feel like our great experience was his top priority. Every time we returned, it felt like visiting a friend. I'll be back here for sure.

“The food is great. Service is hit or miss. Prices are reasonable. When they have live music, the volume is overwhelming. Chef knows how to cook a salmon.“
“I was freezing. (Waiting on the bus for 10th Street.) when tears started rolling down my face,(thinking I had missed the bus.)I noticed the Bar down the street. I gave up after an hour. And ran to the Bar to warm up and figure out how I was going to get home from there (with all my bags in toat.) I imagined everyone would be nosy never asking or offering help. But the Bartender was quick on her feet and feet and brought me my order fast, and seemed concerned that I was comfortable. I was awwed. I got the password for their internet and called a friend to come rescue me. I warmed up with 2 shots of Yeager while waiting for my friend to show up. I felt at home.. I myself couldn't have helped someone feel as expected as I did that day. Thank you Daddy Mac's for being who you are!!!“

“This place is very cool! The bar tender was really nice and we had cocktails for 2.50 before 7. We had a chance to talk to the owners and they were welcoming and friendly. If you have a chance to go to this place, don’t miss it. It doesn’t seem like a typical “tourist attraction”.“

“Hole in the wall with home town folk. We had a drink there and they gave us recommendations on places to eat. They said their food was good too but we eat at 1 of the recomended places and it was real good. It is a smoking friendly place. People were friendly too“

“Me and my boyfriend decided to get breakfast here and they had friendly service but they forgot our banana pudding dessert. we split the breakfast tots and got the honey hush and the hot mess and they were good. luckily the portions are big so that got us full.“
