Black Bear Diner Reviews
From the host to the wait staff, everyone was rude & awkward. I felt considerably unsafe with my children. We ordered drinks and after being ignored for a good while the waitress sauntered over & after like we were wasting her time.

there is at least 100 other places to get a GREAT meal in Amarillo
We ordered biscuits and gravy and sausage. All of it was room temperature at best with it actually being cold. They didn’t care. We didn’t eat it but sure paid anyway and coffee is almost $4 cup. Terrible customer service and cold food.

Black Bear Diner Amarillo offers great food and good service. The restaurant has ample parking and is wheelchair accessible, making it a great spot for families with kids, who will love the kid-friendly atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Some customers note that the ham steak now comes in a tiny triangular piece instead of a full steak. Despite this, the sandwiches are considered pretty decent. The restaurant can get very busy, often packed with locals. Many visitors appreciate the convenient location near a hotel and have enjoyed ordering dinner and lunch to go. Overall, guests find the food and service to be good, with the restaurant offering everything needed for a satisfying meal. One standout waitress, Destiny, was greeted with a smiling attitude. The taco salad was the best ever eaten, with generous meat, spicy jalapeños, and thinly cut avocados. The chili was great too. Natasha did a great job making sure the experience went great, with hot food and cold water. Abbi, with Destiny as Manager Trained, made the visit exceptional, with outstanding food.
