I love this place, but I don't feel welcome. I'm insulted when the owner sits down across from me with the menu and tells me what I want I know what I want! I'm there usually after 1PM on the weekends, so there is usually no one in the dining room but myself. I have to stand by the cash register to make my presence known to the extended friends/family who are partying in the back room.
