This workplace exploits undocumented and improperly documented workers. A current employee described the environment as hostile. Trang, the manager, works here primarily on her student visa, and many employees lack proper documentation. The owner pays workers unfairly and takes advantage of their vulnerable status.
Haven’t been here in a while, used to be my favorite place for poke bowls. We went here Saturday, and had the absolute worst sashimi I’ve ever had anywhere. 8 tiny 1/2 inch square pieces of fish for $15. That came out WARM and stinky. We tried to like it. Ate like 3 pieces (we all tried one piece) then told them we didn’t want it because it was gross. They said “I mean we can give you a small discount but that’s it”. Lemongrass SUSHI & PHO | Vietnamese • Japanese offers a mix of Vietnamese and Japanese dishes in a clean and modern setting. The restaurant is known for its friendly service and good atmosphere. While the food is generally considered average, it is often seen as one of the better options in the area. The menu includes sushi, Vietnamese pho, fried rice, chicken pho, beef stir fry, and appetizers like crab won tons and lettuce wraps. Several reviews highlight that the dishes can be flavorful and satisfying, especially the lettuce wraps and fried rice. The tiger shrimp and pepper steak are also noted as delicious choices. The Pho, while decent and with generous portions, receives mixed reviews—some find the broth subtle or wish for more options like chicken or basil. The restaurant appears to be hygienic and well-maintained, but some reviews mention inflated prices and standard service. A few reviewers noted the presence of a political sign on the door, which might be off-putting. Overall, customers appreciate the friendly staff and the decent quality of meals, though some find the food just okay and feel prices are higher than expected. Despite some mixed opinions about specific dishes, many would consider returning, especially for the lettuce wraps and certain Vietnamese favorites. The restaurant provides a good dining experience for those looking for a friendly place with solid, if not exceptional, food in a comfortable environment.
