“Pondaseta Brewing is a nice spot of local color. We always prefer to drink a brewery’s beer at their tap room to experience their beer and culture in their native environment.
Pondaseta has a nice tap with with plentiful seating indoors and out, on site food options, and plenty of cool merch to rep their brand.
Beer tenders are nice, friendly crowd, and a large selection of beer styles for you to find something you will enjoy. Definitely check this place out when you are in Amarillo.“

“We had an amazing experience at Spicy Mike's BBQ! When we arrived, first thing we noticed was several local people eating their lunch there - a sure sign of good food and fair prices. Seeing this, we ordered the 3-meat plate, and it was fantastic! And the portion was generous, perfect for two people to share. I'm a big fan of smoked ribs, I eat them everywhere I can find them (they’re rare in Europe!), and I can confidently say that all the meat at Spicy Mike's BBQ is EXTREMELY good!
What truly made our visit special was that Mike himself came to our table (and others too) to check if we were enjoying our meal. We ended up having a delightful chat about our two-week road trip across the U.S., trying to explore as many states as possible! We even took a photo with Mike!:)
And last but not least - another customer overheard our conversation with Mike about our trip and he bought us a desert!:) What a lovely, kind gesture. We will remember this visit for a long time for sure and will be grateful forever for the warmth and generosity we experienced at Spicy Mike's BBQ.“

“If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to drink a beer while dodging a zombie apocalypse, Zombie Bar & Grill is the place for you! This place nails the undead vibe—think Walking Dead meets Cheers, but with fewer brains and more burgers.
First off, the patio. It’s huge, dog-friendly, and probably big enough to host a zombie flash mob (just saying). Our dogs were treated like royalty, or at least the last uninfected survivor, with plenty of space to roam while we enjoyed our drinks in peace.
Shoutout to Andrea, our server! Friendly, attentive, and very good with our curious pups. She made sure we had everything we needed!
In short, Zombie Bar & Grill is the perfect spot if you’re looking to enjoy a night out with your friends, human or canine. Just be prepared—after a few drinks, you might start thinking you can take on the zombie horde yourself. Spoiler: you can't, but you'll have a blast trying!“

They have the best Mexican food and it was really difficult finding anything remotely relatable. Good Day Burritos has been a close match! You also won’t find a more friendlier place. “I love Dutch Bros! Bent Tree is my fave Amarillo location, even when it's out of my way!
Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions… Just let them know I have to be gluten-free and they are very accommodating with whatever we need to do… They also accommodate me meeting protein milk and practically everything instead of whatever milk is normally in it… They have lots of sugar-free options if you need that. Talk to them and tell them what you need the Broistas are awesome!
Parking: There are maybe 10 parking places but it's mostly a drive-through business so it's not really a problem. I think the most cars I have ever seen part was about six and that included the employees.
Kid-friendliness: It's a fun place with milkshakes! What kid doesn't love that!
Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of handicap spots for the outdoor tables… It's mostly a drive-through so it's kind of a moot point.“

To be honest steak has no flavor.
Side were plain. Our waitress was amazing. I think this place is way over rated. I do believe it is popular only because it is so old and it's on route 66 . If you actually think and absorb everything it's really nothing special just a big place with a lot of stuff, food not very good. Great service.“

“The morning crew is so full of energy, kind, hard working and I love my morning stops! There isn’t enough wonderful things I can say about them. They work together so well as a team. My drink is AMAZING!! It’s a daily stop for me. The weekend crew is the complete opposite of the week work crew. You have some amazing coffee and employees (work week morning crew). I miss Eddie in the mornings with Bailee.“

“Well, I've had lunch and breakfast here at least three (3) times in the last 3 months. And each time was great. We've had their Breakfast Burritos and Sandwiches. All were freshly made, and each was great. The size of the burrito is /was insane! But well worth the $9.99/$10.00. I've never been able to eat the whole burrito in one sitting. And neither did the guys I worked with. The sandwich was also a great value. I can't wait to continue to try different items on their menu. You can order ahead or for delivery or eat inside or go through the drive thru. They may be busy, but they're fast and courteous, and there's a good reason because they're awesome.“

“Very cozy atmosphere, good beer and wine selection, and really good food. I got the fish and chips and it came with 4 pieces of fish. They give you very generous portions. The owner and manager worked behind the bar and were very friendly and fun. Parking is limited and the restroom is shared with pizza hut next door but I highly recommend Uncork'd.“

“HUD’S catering is spot on! We had an opportunity to feed some DPS officers and chose to use HUD’s for our event. It was SPECTACULAR to say the least. We ordered each platter that was offered and they were delicious. The order was ready on time, it was prepared perfectly and the value for what we paid was exceptional! Don’t sleep on HUD’s to handle a large group. You will be impressed and your client/group will be thankful.“

“I was finally ready to try Indian food again after a few years hiatus from a bad experience- “It’s a Punjabi Affair” absolutely DELIVERED! I got the chicken paneer and was immediately in love. 10/10, would get this the next time I’m in Amarillo.“
