“This is real deal authentic Mexican breakfast food. Great environment, good service, but even if that wasn’t the case, I’d STILL come back for another plate of their Birria Chilaquiles . Each bite took me home to grandma’s breakfast table as a kid. Fully recommended and no doubt a place that will be in my top 5 as of today. Enjoy!“

“The food, service, and atmosphere is very good. Not a large place but very quaint. I enjoy coming here. I had the enchiladas with red sauce. My wife the flautas very good. Flautas are a rolled corn tortilla with chicken fried which are crunchy.“

“You have to try the tamales at Johnnys! I am a die hard tamale lover and the tamales were delicious. My recommendation would be the tamales (obviously), fish tacos, tres leches, churros, and chips & salsa! Our waiter was incredible! He was very welcoming, attentive, and polite. Service is extremely important and depending on your waiter and restaurant, it can be hit or miss. However, that was not the case during our visit. Hospitality was prioritized which was evident after meeting both manager and owner. Great experience!“

Unfortunately as I started eating one of the pork chops there was still blood in the bone and on the outer edges of the bone. I really enjoy this place and hope this is a one off occurrence. I nuked the plate and issues was solved. But, still. The staff is always very friendly.“

You can pick wherever you’d like to sit, and the waitress will bring you a menu. We usually start with the green plantains and the crispy taquitos. Each time I come (which is quite often), I try something different. Their food is always fresh and made to order. Their prices are fair and the quality of their food is out of this world! They are also family friendly, and have a kid’s menu. I got fried fish Tacos they came still hot and crispy it was amazing. 10 out of 10 at the restaurant and if you’re ordering for delivery. Shout out to the amazing staff, they are so friendly and helpful!“

“One of the best food truck options in the area! Everything was prepared amazingly well and quickly. Absolutely amazed at how good the burrito was -- stuffed with all sorts of filling but all of it complementary. The quesadilla has just the right amount of meat and cheese -- had the fajita and it was excellent! Parked next to a smoke shop and gas station so the area is interesting but the food is amazing! They also take Zelle, so always appreciate being able to go cash-free. Friendly folks inside the truck as well!

The food is always good and the top shelf margaritas are the best you will find anywhere. The staff loves to make their customers happy. Frank the manager/bartender is a friend and I know almost all of the staff and the owners too. It’s the best Mexican food and margaritas in the Houston area. I have brought many of my friends here over the years and they all loved it!“
