Y’all need to give LaTanya a big fat raise or something! Came here on Friday night and she is diligently and meticulously cleaning tables, chairs, and sweeping under every table as soon as it is empty, making sure that each customer has a neat and clean table to enjoy their orders. She’s also doing it with a smile, and not with any complaining.
Finally open in Arlington! Excited about the next one coming to Mansfield! Tried the chili dog tonight. Looking forward to trying the menu!

Portillo's Arlington offers a range of food with mixed reviews. The burgers are excellent—thick, juicy patties with great flavor, and better than Whataburger. The Italian beef sandwich is a killer sandwich with soft and fresh bread, splashed with jus and topped with sweet and hot peppers. The single hamburger is really good, and the fries are some of the best in DFW, also good. Onion rings are always on point. The Chicago hot dog is just a typical small sausage hot dog with a shriveled bun, though the bun was tasty. The meat on some items can be bland with no flavor, and the food is not consistent—one sandwich was full of black pepper. The service has been great and consistently friendly every time, with quick service and someone at the counter to order. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a huge seating area inside and a big patio. Serves beer but no full bar.
