Today was an odd miss. They are generally on point with their Farm Raised Catfish and Shrimp. One piece seemed uncooked. But both pieces seemed as if they sat in the grease until all other items were done. Spoke to server guy bringing food from the kitchen. Tells me it’s “like that because catfish is dark.” 🤦🏿♂️ I wasn’t in the mood to go back and forth. So I left. Tossed the fish to dumpster and ate my hush puppies. We all have bad days I guess…
Shrimp are fabulous, the hush puppies are perfect, the sweet potato fries are excellent. If you like tilapia, you might like the white fish. I don’t care for it. This store would probably double its customers and double its profits if they cleaned everything spotless. When the door to the store is so grimy that you don’t even wanna touch it, it’s kind of a turn off to a LOT of people.
