We just had dinner there. It was 6 of us. We had reservations and was sat promptly. It went down hill from there. Our waiter kept saying I will be back. Over and over. Took over a hour and half until we actually got our food drinks sat empty on our table until I stop the waiter for a 2nd time. Drinks were forgotten initially. When the food came out the steak were well done when order med they did make new steaks and took those dinners off but that did make up for the rest...read full review
My husband and I ordered Prime Rib and we both wanted them blackened. All they did was put cajun seasoning on them and called it blackened. To the cooks you actually have to blacken the meat as well. We were so disappointed. The macaroni and cheese was bland. Either the steam knife was dull or I got a bad piece of meat that I ordered medium was tuff to cut. We didn't eat much of our food. Will never give my business to this establishment ever again. We made a reservation to celebrate my Mother's 80th birthday tonight. We were aware their had been a utility issue, but called 2 hours before reservation to be sure problem was resolved and we were assured there would be no problem. We drove from Burleson and when we arrived they had a note taped to door that restaurant was closed. They made no apology... only excuses. Happy hour bar selections were outstanding, and Keg Classics are always great. While some guests found the service and food quality to be great, with steaks cooked perfectly and plated nicely, others had issues. The staff went above and beyond to make celebrations special, with one server even ensuring a memorable birthday and anniversary celebration. In a heartwarming gesture, another family covered the entire meal for one group, leaving them extremely grateful. The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing, with some guests finding their waiter attentive and superior for the job. However, other guests experienced less than superior service due to servers being busy, resulting in delays and reminders for refills. Salads and steaks were brought by someone other than their server, and steak knives were not brought prior to the steaks. The food is always good here, but the last few times service has been questionable, with long waits to get drinks and appetizers. When drinks and menus were finally received, there was no silverware when appetizers were brought. Despite these issues, the bread, appetizers, and meals were excellent, and the sticky toffee date cake a la mode was a happy birthday treat. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was good, not exceptional. It was a very pleasant experience and good value, with guests wanting to return again in the near future.
