The food was great. I had brisket ,potato salad and peach cobbler. But service could be better, the cashier was rude and lacked social skills. Telling someone to have a nice day after treating them so poorly is pretty terrible. Also, if you sit outside on patio be prepared to shoo away a lot of flies, there was a big overfilled trash can out there and no fans. Not appetizing.

Parking is goofy and you might be better off going on off times, but this place is so good. Brisket and sausage are my favs, and I generally prefer chicken over turkey. We always pick up a bottle of their hot sauce for home.

The last time they took over 45 minutes to bring our food, I knew it was a Saturday, but even with a reservation, please have more crew on busy days
I dropped by for lunch with the wife. Line was long but moved pretty quickly. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. Brisket and turkey was juicy and full of flavor. Ribs are tender and seasoned well. Street corn has a little kick and mac n cheese is super cheesy. Potato salad was good as well. We will definitely be dropping by again.

We stopped in for a late lunch after the eclipse. We got 1.5lbs of dliced brisket and it was very good. Great bark, good smoke ring, tender and flavorful. Street corn was different, but savory and delicious. The Mac and cheese was really good, kids loved it (adults did as well). The peach cobbler was also good. Meal was great all around.It was pretty pricey, about $95 for 2 adults and 2 kids but the food was very good. Service was also fast and friendly.

Brisket was very dry. Ribs had absolutely no seasoning or smoke on them, tasted like they were cooked in an oven. Sides were good. The 2 people working the counter and cutting meat were not friendly at all. Guess we went to the wrong Black's BBQ..

Great BBQ! Add this to your Austin BBQ list asap. The Turkey surprised me the most- it is better than at Terry Blacks. Pulled Pork was fantastic and the beef rib.. wow! When you order the beef rib they alway weight it with the bone which makes it more expensive but whatever- it was so worth it!

They don’t seem to smoke their meat on site but I understand it’s brought in from their other location. That being said this place was great. Everything you want in Austin BBQ without the 3 hour wait (Franklins). Would recommend highly. This BBQ is about the meat, the side come second here.
