What you see is what you get, but the staff is great and they are kind and welcoming to musicians of all stripes, unlike a lot of Austin’s venues. The acoustics are surprisingly good - my old band recorded 2 live albums there and they sounded as good as anything else we did.

Went to meet a friend becauae it was a mutual location. Thiught I would grab a cold Lone Star but NOPE. No Lone Star. The person who came in after me ordered a Lone Star. Eaual dissapointment. As I settle for a Shiner, a family with small children come in and sit down. I was unaware it had become a playground. I thought it was a bar. Won't be back.

It’s a BYOB place so you bring your own liquor and buy setups. Well we go for a friend’s birthday and they are out of ice. The bartender wouldn’t give us glasses. We offered to go buy ice. Nope. We asked if we could use our glasses. Nope. He told is not to try drinking straight out of the bottles or to try to do shots or he would kick us out. So there was no way to use the alcohol we brought. And he was such a jerk about the whole thing. Won’t be going back.
