Chipotle Mexican Grill in Austin

“So I get it now, this place is okay for what it is but it's still not authentic by any stretch of the imagination. It's 2 rungs up the ladder from Toxic Hell and one above Taco Cabana but it damn sure isn't close to Mama Betty's (New location opening in the near future on Burnet Rd close to Roger Beasley Mazda Central)! That being said, I was pleasantly surprised, the food was good and the staff made it enjoyable.“

“Chipotle food never gets a 5 out of 5 but definitely a clean place with great service and good atmosphere. They keep the food looking like they just cooked it. Instead of sometimes when you go to some other Chipotles and it looks like food been sitting there for a bit when you go in between normal eating times.“

Recall is quick, with only a five minute delay. 10 times faster than the average brand name trip planning service. Good for dogs too. Plenty of options and even more opportunities. Makes both Uber and Lyft very easy for access. Especially to the public, who, more often than not, fail to grasp the magnitude of this.“

“Food was good but for some reason they tend to have the chicken extra salty. Don't recommend the chicken. Everything else is good. Staff are helpful, yet a little behind on prepping for customers(no utensils or napkins out so needed to ask for them)“

“My Grandson’s favorite restaurant is chipotle and I have to admit it is exceptional. He always gets the burrito and I get the salad bowl. We find the service friendly and accommodating. Have to give them a 5 star review based on our experience.“

“I stopped by here with my son and sister about 2:50pm on a Sunday afternoon. We were visiting from out of state. It may have just been due to the time of it day, but it was difficult getting into the parking lot due traffic blocking the entrance.After parking and going inside, it was empty. I got my son the kids build your own tacos with white rice, pinto beans, and chicken. I got a chicken burrito with brown rice, pinto beans, veggies, and queso.It was warm outside (about 70), so we decided to eat in the patio area, which turned out to be nice. I noticed there is a view of the city, which is nice.I rarely eat chipotle but my sister loves this place. I enjoyed my burrito. There was a little spice to it but it wasn’t overwhelming. My son ate all his food and he enjoyed it. My sister, of course, said her food was a 10/10, lol. The staff were friendly and the store was clean. No complaints.

“This is one of 2 locations I only visit in the area. The portions are good here, but I advise that this location gets very busy. I recommend ordering ahead on the app. With it being known that it gets busy, when one finds a place to sit for dine-in, just know it probably will be dirty. If eating outside, local birds and insects will not shy away from your food.“

“TLDR: This is a solid location with good people, and consistent food.

I started coming to this chipotle quite a bit in recent weeks. I have to rate this the #1 chipotle in Austin, probably tied with the South Lamar location. I mostly come in the evenings during the week so I can’t speak to how well it is for all hours during the day. But even the few times I’ve been outside of my normal it’s been solid.

The people at chipotle in Austin always tend to be cool people I get to know. This location so far strikes me as another good location with good people.

I get the same meal almost every time so I get a good sense of consistency in the quality of food and the amounts. This has been the most consistent chipotle I’ve ever been to, and so far I’ve never had the dry crunchy rice that you sometimes get.

The outdoor seating is more pleasant than most chipotles since it’s in such a walkable area.

“Went in during lunch time around 12 got welcomed in by a young lady and 2 gentleman working the line exceptional service, one of the best customer services I've ever experienced couldn't fail to notice previous review I mean truly what can you expect these are humans not machines also failed to mention there was no customers due to the rain. Also no need to expose them out like that specially taking pictures without consent. Been coming to this Chipotle since 2022 have nothing but good things to say about them“

“There rice is delicious and the pork chicken or beef and melted cheese on it even though is an extra dollar really good food and is right across the street from uta so stop shop for the students coming through and filling the whole place with a lovely atmosphere much respect to the staff and service was really helpful in selecting the dishes thank you“

“had an amazing experience at Chipotle Mexican Grill today! The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and everything was well-organized. But what really made my visit stand out was the exceptional customer service from the cashier, Alisha.

From the moment I walked in, Alisha greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly attitude. She was patient, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. Even though the line was a little long, she kept things moving smoothly while still taking the time to be kind and helpful with each customer.

She double-checked my order, made sure everything was correct, and even offered great suggestions. It’s rare to find someone who clearly takes pride in their job and treats people with respect — Alisha absolutely went above and beyond.

“Wow! This location has truly turned itself around for the better and I’m officially ready to put my name behind supporting it.

The portion sizes, food quality, operational flow, and inventory supply (finally have the vinaigrette in stock every time I go ??) have improved drastically over the past couple months and my bowl has hit every single time.

As someone who has lived in a neighboring apartment building for the past year I used to go to this location purely for convenience and with the understanding I would receive the most mid chipotle bowl to exist. I’m not sure if they changed management or had an extra inspiring “players only” type of meeting, but they sure have turned things around and I’m excited to see the place running as a top tier chipotle should.“

“You’ve gotta be kind of unusual not to love Chipotle — their food is always solid and they keep a consistent standard.

But that’s not why I’m leaving this review. What stood out today was the service. I’ve lived just 3 minutes away for 4 years now, and this was the first time I felt truly well taken care of — even though it was less than 10 minutes before closing, they had everything available and served the proper portions of everything I asked for.

Honestly, I had stopped coming because of the service. It was always chaotic, and the staff used to seem annoyed just to take your order.

If a manager reads this — or if someone who can make a difference does — please take a moment to recognize the night shift crew. They were friendly, respectful, polite, and had great attitudes. Even the person cleaning the to-go order line took the time to chat with me.

Don’t let the service at this location slip again. It’s been rough in the past, but this team really got it right. Reward the people who actually care about good customer service.“
