I’ve eaten at CE a handful of times and it seems very inconsistent. Dine-in service is always great, but takeout has been pretty off the mark. The ketchup is very sweet?? Updated from previous review on 2020-05-18
We had a really nice lunch. The beets and pesto are delicious. We enjoyed the Asama Burger, the Citizen Burger and the basket of fries. The staff was very friendly. Since I don't live in Austin, I won't be able to return anytime soon to try more menu items ?, but I definitely recommend giving this sweet little spot a try if you are able!
I feel that we need to have more menu options on RAW and gluten free choices
We enjoyed the Pulled Plant BBQ sandwich, the Citizen Brat (although the toppings were overwhelming), and the Southern Style Hen of the Woods Mushrooms. Good cocktails, too.
Tyler was our server, and he was excellent. The food was so yummy! The tofu sammich was tops! My wife got chips and queso, and it was tasty, too! It's all vegan, and if it weren't advertised, you wouldn't even know.

It was nice to have a healthy lunch here! The servicer was friendly and the food was good.We got the mixed basket which was quite huge but they ran out of yuca fries. I enjoyed the fries but I wasn’t a fan of the fried zucchini. They were hard to take out and a bit too breaded. I did enjoy the power bowl as it was a yummy, filling, and crunchy. I liked it a lot, but that’s what I expected for $15.The space is nice too with good natural light and there’s plenty of parking!Would come again!

Perfect little date spot! We came for brunch and enjoyed the Migas and breakfast sandwich. The mousse was AMAZING! Isabella was a fabulous server!
The tofu scramble is not on the menu but I saw it on their website so they were able to make it for us. It was excellent. The potatoes kale and sauteed onions. Very delicious. Biggest downfall of this place is their lack of coffee options.

So thankful to have found this place! Unbelievably tasty burger, perfectly made french fries, and the homemade ketchup is probably the best ketchup I've ever had in my life. Thank you Thomas for being our server. We'll be back!
Great food, options, service and ambience!

Great service and great plant based food. I come here often. Always friendly and good healthy options
Tried this place out after it was highly recommended by a customer of mine. I don't live in Austin, but this place will be on my list from now on every time I am in town. It was that good! I had the Chorizo Omelet and the GF pancakes, and they were both amazing!! I can't wait to visit again.

Great vegan food and I love that it’s a sit-down restaurant (with lots of parking)! Everything I’ve tried is very tasty and there’s a lot of options to fit whatever you’re craving. Great drinks too! Love this place!!
