I tried the misal pav, but it was quite disappointing. It seemed like frozen sprouts were used, and instead of a proper gravy (rassa), a large amount of extremely hot oil was poured on top. The oil stayed hot for a long time and actually burned my mouth. There was also no farsan served, which is an essential part of misal pav and adds texture and flavor. Overall, the dish lacked balance, freshness, and authenticity—it didn’t resemble traditional misal pav at all.

Kathi rolls remind of my childhood. Almost every day, I would go out with friends and we’ll go to our favorite Kathi spots in Delhi. This place comes closest to those memories, although not authentic Delhi style, but very well done. The owner is friendly too.

Great food, awesome service - they were very kind to accommodate us pretty late ( closing time ). We ordered kathi roll and Bombay grill sandwich - it was awesome. Definitely recommend. Thanks

Desi Sandwich Foodies is a best choice if you’re after flavourful, authentic‑style Indian sandwiches and frankies, with generous portions and good value. The frankies are especially worth trying. If you go, pick a version you like paneer, chicken, etc. maybe ask for extra sauce or heat if you like spice
