Very cool atmosphere. Definitely a throwback to old Austin. Food was solid, service was solid, but I think its too pricey for what you get. $20 is a little steep for burgers fries and a coke. The burger was good and all but not like some all time amazing burger worth the price.
Hard to believe this iconic burger joint will be gone soon. Great food, great service, an old Austin tradition. It will be greatly missed.Update - Looks like they will still be around for a while.

This iconic modest place is 98 years old. Multiple generations of the same univetsity dorms and groups and families have eaten here. I have now been waited on by the grandson and great-nephew of the brothers that made my burgers 50 years ago. The fried burgers and the onion rings are particularly good. The decor is centered around UT and nostalgia.
