Visited El Postrecito ATX with friends and family, and it’s definitely a cute spot for desserts in Austin. The vibe was really nice, and the pink color theme gives the place a fun and lively feel. It’s a food truck setup, which adds to the casual and cozy charm.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. I had churros, and while they were decent, I’d rate them around 3.5/5. The flavor was good, but there’s still room for improvement to make the desserts stand out a bit more.
Overall, it’s a nice place to hang out with friends or family and enjoy a sweet treat, especially if you like unique dessert spots with good vibes.

Not worth the hype! Over priced! It took them over 45 minutes to make my order of strawberries with cream and churros! They weren't even that busy. My girlfriend wanted to go because of course, she saw it on Instagram. Obviously they have paid influencers to market them which worked. They took our order, we walked to the restroom and did our business, then walked to the botanical store and chatted with the owner for around 15 minutes. Then walked back and waited another 30 mins or more. In this time I sat and watched people just sitting there waiting or their order and even over hearing whats taking so long. There was maybe 3 other couples there and a couple of single people. There was no more people coming up to order but there was also orders being put out very slowly. My girlfriend even asked about our order to see if they forgot and asked for our money back. They said our order was next and coming soon, which it wasnt next and we still waited more. With mainly one woman making everything while another was on the phone mostly. Taking phone orders? Ok i get it, but customers that are there should be served first. Its not that difficult to make desserts... why would it take 45+ minutes to make cream and strawberries with churros? Either how they prep their food or build it is not efficient or they need more or better experienced staff. It was a huge let down and a waste of our time on a saturday night. With parking and waiting for our dessert, then eating it we lost well over a hour of our night that we could've done something else. I will definitely not be returning or suggest this location to anyone I know. The dessert was ok good but definitely not worth $15 and the waste of time. They need to re think their execution and preparation. Next time I will be going to the chocolate covered banana lady and get good service.

I paid cash and they didn’t give me my coin change. Imagine all the people they do this to throughout the days. I mean, at least ask..

Got multiple items from menu today 10/05/25 one of them was Dubai Deluxe strawberries and found a small HAIR ! On a strawberry that I was about to eat. Had to throw away 1/2 cup Dubai strawberries. This is very disappointing because everything was good and finding hair in food for me is unhygienic and not professional.

We visited this cute little truck and tried the Angel’s kiss churros, which were only okay. I was expecting big churros, but they were only about an inch each (which is the height of the churros sticking out). The cream was just regular cream with strawberries in it, which I wasn’t a fan of. I would have preferred traditional churros.
I also wanted to try the dubai chocolate strawberries, but they were a whopping $15! I’ll save that for next time.
Overall, everything at this truck is a bit pricey. The cup of strawberries with toppings or pancakes costs between $15 and $20.

We ordered the Nutella Churros. The ice cream tasted old and the Nutella tasted burnt. Of course this is an outdoor setting so I understand there will be bugs and critters around but one being in the food was it for me. The lady taking my order was polite. Maybe I can try coming back during the day to get fresher ingredients.
