Went on a random walk on Tuesday and found this gem of a place! Everything from food service and Welcoming.. If I could take all the 5 stars from every place I rated 5 stars and put them all together.. I’d combine them all and put it here! So good!

Went here with my boyfriend for his birthday and it was a 10/10 exceptional experience. Starting with the hostess who was very welcoming and left a birthday card from the staff at the table as she sat us. Very nice touch.
Our waiter Mark was incredible, very welcoming and friendly and gave great recommendations.
He gave us complimentary welcome shots as well as it was our first time there.
We started with the crab cakes and mussels, both exceptional. Crab cakes were 97% crab and some of the best I’ve had. The tomato base sauce was so flavorful on the mussels, just be aware it’s a bit spicy.
For out mains we chose the Wagyu and the market fish. The Wagyu was incredible with the green sauce on the side, perfectly cooked with a nice sear and flavor. To our surprise the fish was equally as good if not even better. The sauce. Just wow. I would drink a bowl of it . We were ballin out tonight for the bday so we got both the crispy potatoes and carrots, which Mark said was one of his favorites. Truthfully, although the carrots were good and I loved the Ricotta with them, they were not my favorite. Sauce was a bit over powering and had a bit too burnt flavor. The potatoes though… mmmm, perfectly crispy and delightful.
We were so full at the end of this meal but Mark promised us a birthday dessert at the end and we chose the Dulce de Leche ice cream with meringue. Another knock out of the park. The ice cream itself was amazing, but the meringue, the meringue was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with the amazing homemade light caramel sauce on top.
To summarize, it was awesome and we would definitely recommend.
Just be ready to spend $150-$200. We spent $172 pre tip (that’s with no alcoholic beverages and a free dessert) but the service was so exceptional you can’t tip anything less than 20%
Not something we will do all the time but well worth the occasional splurge.

After visiting Ember Kitchen this past weekend, I understand why it’s so highly reviewed. It was truly one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had!
Every dish was rich and bold in flavor and truly unique in taste. Our service equally matched the incredible food, too!
I already cannot wait to go back!!!

I visited Ember and was absolutely blown away! The food was hot, served on time, and exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Morita shrimp, filet skewer, market fish, and plantain—everything was absolutely delicious with no complaints. Even though my friend had to cancel, I still decided to go and I’m so glad I did. A huge thank you to Marissa and the entire staff for making my visit amazing. Highly recommend!

Went with my girlfriend. We ordered the caviar bites, salpicon de pulpo, crispy beef fat fried potatoes, ember greens, and the tomahawk ribeye. The food was exquisite, the service second-to-none, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect! Cannot wait to come back next time we're in town!

This was the meal of a lifetime!! It was literally the best dinner I have ever had. The steak melted in your mouth, the brine on the chicken was divine, and the sides were phenomenal. Our waitress made the best recommendations (we literally just ordered what she told us were her favorites) and the drinks were fantastic. I look forward to eating here again!!

Ember has some of my favorite food in Austin, TX. The Scallops and side of potatoes alone have me coming back for more. Not to mention, the excellent staff whose professionalism and attention to detail provide a warm and amplified experience all around.

Drool worthy. Yes, drooling may not be socially appropriate for this establishment but neither is licking your plate clean in public and yet I had to refrain from doing both. Saying the food was good just doesn’t do it justice. Small plate king salmon, small plate filet, wagyu beef, potatoes and carrots as sides. Plus, yes there’s more, local beer, tasting a signature drink, margaritas and don’t get me started on the dessert. Plantain sundae and chocolate flan. Oh and the service? 100/10. Maddie is amazing and … AND … we had a birthday and they asked when the reservation was made. A birthday card was signed by the staff at our table when they sat us. A real, hand-signed, birthday card! Who does that?? Ember does! The only bad thing? There is no Ember where I live and I will forever remember this experience. Ember, I will be back next time I’m in Austin!

Ember Kitchen provided excellent above & beyond customer service. The wagyu beef and halibut market fish dishes were made to perfection, bursting with flavors and beautiful presentations. It was neat that we got to pick out our own steak knives. Got to try their new calamari/squid dish, and it was very unique, full of flavors. We have been to many Michelin restaurants, and we can say this restaurant did not disappoint. Even the burger we got to take with us to the airport was delicious. They deserve Michelin status! Thank you for the best dinner during our visit to Austin.
