Exceptional service and very tasty food. A bit pricey, but still every bite was delicious.
My family ordered 3 different dishes plus one side dish. Everything was very tasteful. My cocktail was also very good. Ambience is pretty normal downstairs. Service was very good. Generally speaking, food is very good but also freaking expensive though. It is a place to visit once every two years.
Took 30+ minutes to get our drinks. Multiple tables around us had the same issue. The waitress didn't write down our order and ended up bringing me the wrong meal. The meal that they did bring me was not good. Service was very slow. Multiple times we saw our waiter at the bar on his cell phone. The rest of the food was OK but not great. The cost of the meal did not fit the quality of the meal and the experience.
Our third visit and everything was perfect. We were celebrating two birthdays and the restaurant really showed up for us. Hearing that one of us is a pescatarian, Chef put together a fantastic vegetarian dish with mole sauce unlike any we've ever had. As good as what you might expect to get at Fonda or El Naranjo. The halibut, salmon crudo, short ribs...really everything was great. Kaelyn excellent server...take her suggestions!
Goha, our server was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu, recommended us some very delicious beverages and dishes, she also extended her way to return my tablet that I left. Thank you so much for the wonderful service and experience. Highly commendable of her and the flavorful dishes and beverages as well.
My favorite special occasion restaurant in Austin. I love the cozy, romantic atmosphere. The menu is farm fresh and caters to those of us who are health conscious but also there's plenty my husband enjoys too. We really loved the appetizers dishes and found we could get variety and make a meal from those. Will definitely try it out for brunch.

This was our first time at Embers Kitchen but they didn't disappoint. The food was phenomenal and our waitress was the best. Management checked on us a couple times. I was highly impressed with the flavor of all the food my wife and I had. They even offered us an exceptional dessert. You have to order the potatoes if you love potatoes 🥔. They were cooked to perfection.

Food was dry! and over seasoned, also table next to us had 6 drunk girls that wouldn’t stop screaming, Definitely a let down of a night… ember kitchen is not it.

We came here for brunch and the food was great in terms of ingredients and flavor. What was an issue was how long it took for us to get our food. The restaurant was not that packed and it took over an hour for us to get our entree. The music was also very loud for such a small establishment, the prices are also a bit too high for the atmosphere and service.

first and definitely NOT last time visiting this spot. fell in love with the atmosphere immediately, everyone was so kind and welcoming. the food was absolutely one of the best i’ve had in austin, and being able to see the kitchen out in the open was such a cool experience. our server bernice went above and beyond with service, and the manager presley tied it all together by elevating the service as well. 12/10 recommend stopping by for a dinner. i can’t wait to try brunch!

Came here for an anniversary and the staff were beyond amazing. From stopping at our table to chat to making sure we celebrated accordingly, they were fantastic for the whole night. Food was great as well, but not as good as our servers. Cari, Presley, and Maddie helped us with food decisions, wine pairings, and dessert recommendations, and they made the night great. 5 stars all around!
