Dishes that are eaten on the spot will be more delicious than bought to take home, especially dishes that should be eaten hot with tofu in sugar water or dishes with soup. The staff is quite friendly when asking customers, although their English is not really that good, but nonetheless it is a good way to approach customers. The space inside the restaurant is a bit old, hot and a bit dark. If possible, the restaurant should improve this.

We had an eggroll break between 2 of our films this year at Austin Asian American Film Festival and well, of course it was a smash! Thanks to Fresh Tofu/Uncle Phan's tofu for working with on our order of 200 eggrolls (1/2 pork, 1/2 veggie).

This place is mostly known for their fresh tofu or other quick To Go viet dishes. Belive it or not, you can get food to eat here. I had the Bun Bo Hue and I was surprised it was very good. The broth tasted like home made and had good depth of flavor. Not very spicy but they can give you chilies to make it so.
