“Scholz Garten is one of a dwindling number of restaurants that has survived since I arrived in Austin in 1971. It can get pretty rowdy but we arrived at mid-morning during a week day. Only two tables were occupied so my wife, son, and we enjoyed the garten as well as the excellent food and draft German beer. Our server was very attentive and friendly.“
