There is no service. Period. This has been my go-to place for years, but I've been trying to order online/over the phone all week (could really use a pick-me-up, so I keep going for them) and all of their delivery services are down, even though the store claims to be open. Not only that, but they don't answer the phone at all. I'm talking multiple calls each day for the last three days, and nothing. At this point I'm calling just out of curiosity for how long it will take to get...read full review
If I could give it 0 stars I would!!! My husband & I had a layover in Austin Airport after arriving back in the states from our honeymoon from traveling out of the country. We decided to stop here for a late lunch. From the time we sat down we were racially profiled by the bartender or server MIRANDA who asked for our card before we ordered to “start a tab” when every other table around us cards were not taken until after they were finished with their meals. Haymaker is a restaurant that offers a mix of experiences. Some find it chaotic and expensive, particularly with drinks on the pricier side. The Impossible burger is a hit, tasting like the real deal. The restaurant is a great place to meet friends or fellow travelers, and while it can get a bit loud, guests can easily spend hours here before heading off to their next destination. Many praise the friendly and helpful staff, along with good beer and cider options. The chicken bacon avocado sandwich is also highly rated, with grilled chicken and crunchy bacon on super soft bread. The fries, with a nice Cajun style rub, are particularly recommended, along with the pattymelt and fries, known for their perfectly cooked fries and a delicious combination of Swiss and cheddar. The attention to detail, even when packing food for takeout, leaves a lasting impression, making it a great stop for airport travelers. While the prices are somewhat high, the quick service and excellent atmosphere make it better than average airport food.
