We had a wonderful meal. The food was sharable and my wife and kids loved trying an assortment of what Hestia had to offer. Some of the plates complimented each other as we used the sauce from the fish to enjoy with the steak. My wife really enjoyed her birthday dinner here and the staff made it memorable. Will visit again.

Everything was amazing. The only negative I have is I needed to talk to someone the day of our reservation to try to modify it. I left two messages and sent a message through Open Table and never heard back. So the one bit of constructive criticism I would give is to make sure to return calls, even if the request being made can't be met. Otherwise, great all around! Highlight: halibut, sour dough ice cream, steak tar tar, butternut squash with caviar, pork chop. Will go again!

To the captain, food runner, server assistant and hosts all were so awesome and brought really great energy to the experience. The food was unbelievable and that scallop dish deserves a national holiday.

Our dinner was absolutely wonderful. We had the tasting menu and the wine pairing. Additionally, we ordered table-side martinis. The only thing that was too salty was the sauce in the scallop, but it was well-cooked. Even though we loved the tasting menu I don't think we would spend that much money again.

The caviar starter was the star of the show. The pork was cold and chewy (definitely unexpected). The food came fast and the server explaining the dishes was very entertaining. Disappointing end to a decent start.

A cute, tucked away restaurant in the heart of downtown Austin. The restaurant has a cozy feel to it inside with an open concept kitchen. Overall, the food is good - perhaps not overly unique or different that made the dining experience (or a single dish) stand out. Our group ordered the crab tartes, Waygu tartare, Napa cabbage, Waygu Bavette, and the fresh oysters. The fresh oysters were fantastic and probably the highlight of all the dishes we tried. Cocktails were on the weaker side and perhaps have room for improvement. Overall a fine experience , would likely not return for this same menu but if items were to change or improve would consider trying again in the future.

Let's you book tasting menu in the bar, then when you get there you get told you can't have tasting menu in the bar. Sirloin was so undercooked that it was cold in the center, fish is just doused in butter and doesn't require a lot of technique. The green beans, scallops, and desserts are exceptional. Missing the mark on two mains and misleading a booking makes me feel as though this restaurant does not deserve a Michelin star.
