We did the tasting menu, which was a great showcase of everything the restaurant has to offer, from ingredients to open-hearth cooking techniques. The dishes were all so different from each other, with unique combinations of flavors that balanced each other or provided layered nuanced experiences. Cornbread and caviar, wouldn't have it any other way in Austin. Hestia nails the Austin vibe, delivering an experience that's upscale yet relaxed, casual and cool without the stuffiness. I've heard so much recently about Hestia and glad we were able to reserve a spot for the chef tasting. The 12-courses were perfectly portioned, with us barely able to finish it all. Had an anniversary meal here when visiting from out of town and it was excellent. The food was incredible with interesting and rich flavors. They made the celebration feel extra special with extra hospitality touches. Highly recommend and wish we could come back more often!
