Have been eating at Hip Pocket for over 30 years. Absolutely love this place.
Lunch with my niece. Excellent appetizer plate, with 4 different fresh tasting items, including a really top notch hummus. Warm pita-like bread was great, and also had a complimentary taste of a seasoned/flavored hummus, which was delicious My donner (spelled wrong probably) and salad were great. Big portion. My niece had a pita with dome sort of meat, which was large, and she said it was very good. Nice lunch.
I had a late dinner on a Friday night with 2 friends after yoga in the same pretty plaza. The food was authentic & delicious & reminded me of my travels to Turkey. Great for vegans & meat lovers all. The lovely owner came to our table to say hello & he was utterly warm & generous. The staff are also all very welcoming & thoughtful. The restaurant was crowded but the service was fast.
